There is something ancient about moving with natural things.

A feather.
A natural fabric.
Bare feet on the earth.

When we surround ourselves with materials that have lived, grown and belonged to nature, something within us remembers.

At Samadhi Living, we believe that everything around us shapes everything within us.

The clothes we wear.
The objects we choose.
The spaces we create.
The rituals we return to.

None of these are separate.

They quietly shape how we feel, how we move, and who we become.

Our clothing is designed to honour the body, not restrict it.

No tight waistbands. No stiff silhouettes. No synthetic fabrics.

Just soft, breathable natural fibres that flow with your movements, allowing your body to breathe, soften and simply be.

The NEFERTARI Kaftan in Cloud Blue is one of those pieces. Designed with an adjustable ribbon hidden inside, it can be worn loose or gently shaped at the waist—always prioritising comfort, freedom and effortless elegance.

Paired with hand-collected indigenous feathers from Borneo and our own handcrafted Seed Earrings, made from seeds native to the Indonesian archipelago. Every piece is a reminder that nature has always been the greatest artist.

Both the feathers and Seed Earrings are handcrafted in Indonesia and, together with the NEFERTARI Kaftan, are available online and in our boutique in Ubud.

Because beauty isn’t something we consume.

It’s something we choose to live with.

Helping you remember who you are.

This color collection is inspired by a story close to my heart. A journey to the Kayu Putih Tree. Wearing our collection, created with love through flower dye experiments. This vibrant color empowers the soul and shines beautifully with our brown seed necklace. ✨🌿

When did your life become something you manage instead of something you love?

I think many of us are very good at functioning.

We answer the messages.
Take care of the children.
Work.
Pay the bills.
Make dinner.
Solve the next problem.

And suddenly another week has passed.

Another month.

Another year.

Not because everything is wrong.

But because life gets so full that we stop noticing what it actually feels like to be alive.

For me, beauty has never only been decoration.

It is the way sunlight enters a room.
The fabric touching my skin.
The food I prepare.
The people I sit beside.
The music I listen to.
The work I give my energy to.
The trees outside my window.

Everything around us shapes everything within us.

We don’t need more things to achieve.

We need to come back into relationship with our lives.

With beauty.
Nature.
Our bodies.
Our homes.
Our creativity.
The people around us.

To consciously create a life that feels like our own.

A life we are present enough to actually love.

This is what I’ve been building quietly behind the scenes, and I’ll be sharing more very soon.

Plant-dyed clothes belong in nature. Just maybe not at six degrees. 😂

Today turned into a completely spontaneous Samadhi shoot in the forest.

Plant-dyed pieces, seed jewellery, feathers, a handwoven bag from Borneo, copal burning in the copalera, bare feet on the forest floor.

All very beautiful.

Also absolutely freezing.

Most of these clothes were designed in the tropics, so spending almost two hours barefoot in thin Samadhi pieces in Swedish October was perhaps not my most practical idea.

By the end I couldn’t really feel my hands or feet anymore.

But somewhere in the middle of it, I stopped resisting the cold and just became part of the whole experience.

And there was something so right about photographing the plant-dyed pieces out there.

Colour made from plants, surrounded by plants.

Natural fibres, feathers, seeds, woven textures, earth, smoke, trees.

This is the world Samadhi belongs in.

And today also feels a little special because our new online shop is finally open.

If you’ve been following Samadhi for a while, go have a look around. Supporting a small independent brand really does make a difference.

Everything from today’s shoot is now available online, with more new pieces coming soon. 🤎

Samadhi was never only a clothing brand.

Over the years it has moved through clothes, homes, restaurants, interiors, collaborations, food, photography and the people who have been part of creating it with me.

For a long time, I saw these as separate things.

Now I see that they have always belonged to the same world.

A world built around beauty, nature, originality, craftsmanship, nourishment and creating a life that feels like your own.

Tomorrow, the next chapter opens.

A new home for Samadhi Living.

I quit my job in fashion because I couldn’t stand what I was seeing.

I remember unpacking hundreds of the same white T-shirt while piles of them were already sitting unsold in the stockroom.

That world of constant production, discounting and replacing never felt right to me.

I had grown up with something completely different.

Thrift shops.
Vintage.
Handmade silk and wool.
Beautiful pieces passed down from my grandmother.

Things with quality, history and character.

So at 23, I left the fashion shops and opened my own vintage store.

Looking back, that was the beginning of so much of what I still believe today.

Keep instead of consume.
Natural instead of synthetic.
Timeless instead of trend-driven.
Original instead of mass-produced.

Sustainable Beauty started there.

I still wear some of the first Samadhi samples from 2018.

They’ve softened.
They’ve faded.
Some have torn and been mended.

And honestly, I often prefer them now.

There is something about a piece you have lived in for years. The fabric knows your body. The repairs become part of it. It carries places, memories, movement and time.

I would rather mend something I love than replace it because it no longer looks new.

To me, this is Sustainable Beauty.

Beauty that can age.
Beauty that can be repaired.
Beauty that becomes more yours the longer you live with it.

I think I finally found the words for something I have been creating for a very long time.

Sustainable Beauty.

Original and timeless expression.

Beauty that can age.
Wood that becomes more beautiful with use.
Clothes that soften, tear, get mended and stay with us.
Objects passed down from our ancestors.
Food that nourishes.
Homes with soul.
Things made by hand.
Nature. Craft. Patina. Character.

I believe we are here to create lives that reflect who we are.

Homes we feel good in.
Clothes that feel good on our bodies.
Food that nourishes us.
Work that uses what we are naturally good at.
People we feel ourselves around.
Nature we are connected to.
Space for creativity, spirituality, beauty and expression.

I call that Sustainable Beauty.

That is where Samadhi Living is going.

Have you ever really asked yourself what you want out of life?

What you love.
What you want to create.
How you want to spend your days.

A lot of people never really stop to think about it.

For me, Samadhi Living has always been about creating a life that feels good to live in.

The clothes we wear.
The spaces we live in.
The food we eat.
The people around us.
The things we create.
The way we spend our time.

All of it shapes how life feels.

The Transformative Journey is where I’m bringing that philosophy together into one experience.

A way to look at your life as a whole, get clearer on what you actually want, and start creating more consciously from there.

This is the next chapter of Samadhi Living.
