Last night almost 100 leaders gathered in our future home to worship, pray, and be the first to make our commitments to see a miracle God started become a home for the people of our city. It was holy. It was wholehearted. It was family.

I’m genuinely in awe at the faith and generosity of this growing community called @bannerseattle. Janelle and I are forever marked by this season and we’re just grateful to be a small part of what Jesus is doing in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. Can’t wait for Commitment Sunday ❤️

TEAM TEACH SUNDAY!

Swipe to meet this Sunday’s speakers…in their baby era 🎤

This weekend, 12 people from our community are bringing the message across all three services, and we seriously can’t wait.

Grab a friend, pick a service (or stick around for all 3), and we’ll see you Sunday.

Easter weekend at @bannerseattle was a dream. Highlights were a moment at the cross with our family, seeing our son start to understand the gospel, watching Andre and Laurel from our dinner party get baptized, watching our staff and leaders see THEIR friends get baptized, a local restaurant owner giving her life to Jesus, THE CHOIR, our team absolutely crushing 5 services, the presence of God, and all the time spent with the people we love. These are the days we prayed for. Thank you Jesus, we wouldn’t be here without you.

Banner Groups launched this week ❤️

A little over 300 different people joined a group in just the last seven days. These are the faces of our dinner party— our little corner of community among many others. Janelle and I are so grateful to do life with all of the incredible people of our church. My prayer is that here, no one does life alone. So if you’re in the city and searching for God I want you to hear that God’s been looking for you too, and no matter what life looks like He’s not done with you yet. Come visit us on a Sunday or throughout the week. We’ll be here. Let’s go deep @bannerseattle

This is our worship team. No one’s ever planted a church before. Never played together before meeting through @bannerseattle. Most were newer to leading when we first started. No ego, no drama, no salaries, no superstars. This is our secret sauce…genuine friendship, a heart for excellence, loving the church, and a passion for the presence of God. In my eyes this team is goated and I’d take them over anyone any day..

We’re lucky to have them.

One of the BEST blessings of 2024 was growing closer with this group of women as we talked about Jesus and life, prayed, cried, laughed, and drank coffee! We are so excited to share that Jesus & Coffee will be continuing in 2025! If you're a woman age 18-32 seeking community as you learn more about what it looks like to follow Jesus, we'd love to invite you to join us in the new year. We promise you'll love it. :)

WHAT: JESUS & COFFEE is a gathering of young adult women who want to grow closer to Jesus.

WHO: Women ages 18-32

WHEN: Tuesday mornings, 7:00 am-8:30 am, beginning January 7th

WHERE: Homes and coffee shops in Federal Way, Milton, Tacoma, and Puyallup. For the month of January, we will be meeting at a home in Federal Way. DM for address.

HOW: DM @ciao_iva or @savbarber and let us know you want to join!

This month will have a focus on the spiritual practices of prayer and fasting. Our church, @ffcmilton , will be going through 21 days of prayer and fasting January 6th-26th. If you've never fasted before or don't plan to fast, no worries! We are all at different points in our journeys, and no one will be pressured to participate in a fast. The group will be a safe place to ask questions, encourage one another, keep each other accountable to what we've each chosen to do, and follow along with the daily devotional booklet on prayer & fasting!

We'd love for you to join us!

- Iva and Savannah

P.S. You can find a digital version of the 21-day devotional we'll be reading at ffcmilton.org/21-days
