Mindfulness is a passion 🧘🏽‍♂️🌞💙✊🏽✨🙏🏽

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A couple years ago my body completely broke down.

Stress. Burnout. Long hours. Poor recovery. Living on adrenaline. There were days I could barely walk without pain. So I stopped worrying about “performance” and focused on rehabilitation. Yoga. Stretching. Walking. Mobility. Recovery. Rebuilding from the ground up.

Now? I’m finally at the point where I can start lightly jogging outside again… even with a 25 lb weighted vest 😅

Not trying to run a 6-minute mile out here. But an 8–10 minute mile for these achy bones might not be too bad 😂

Let’s get after it.

I’m starting to realize the phone controls people’s mornings… mine included.

So now? 9pm, phone in another room. Wake up and don’t even touch it for the first 30 minutes.

Journaling. Meditation. Stretching. Quick walk. Warm lemon water. Letting my mind wake up before the world starts pulling at me.

Our morning routines either builds our peace of mind or feeds your chaos.

Which one you rolling with?

Everybody wants more energy, more focus, better performance, a cleaner lifestyle…

But nobody talks about regular sleeping patterns.

For years I treated sleep like it was optional — late nights, working random hours, running on caffeine and adrenaline. And eventually your body breaks down from over taxing energy reserves.

Now I realize: sleep part of the plan. It is the foundation. When you sleep better, everything gets easier. Your nutrition improves. Your hydration improves. Your workouts improve. Your patience improves. Your mental clarity improves.

You want to operate at a high level?

Try giving sleep the respect it deserves 😴 🧘🏽‍♂️ ✌🏽✨🙏🏽

One of the best B2B moves in the world?

Golf.

4 hours with someone tells you way more than 4 Zoom calls ever will. You see how people handle pressure, conversations, patience, mistakes, competitiveness, energy… all of it.

Deals get done when relationships are built. Golf just happens to be one of the best environments in the world to build them.

…provided you don’t completely embarrass yourself out there 😂

Happy Wellness Wednesday 🧘🏽‍♂️🙏🏽

Everybody wants more energy, more focus, better performance, a cleaner lifestyle…

But no one is talking bout sleep.

For years I treated sleep like it was secondary - late nights procrastinating, working random hours, running on caffeine and adrenaline. And eventually your body starts breaking down because it never fully recovers.

Now I’m realizing this: sleep is the foundation. When you sleep better, everything else gets easier. Your nutrition improves. Your hydration improves. Your workouts improve. Your patience improves. Your mental clarity improves.

You want to operate at a high level?

Sleep matters more than most people want to admit. Just ask my guy @hiphopMike

Yo, for all you golf lovers out there… straight up, it’s probably one of the best things for your mental health.

Gotta stay in the moment. Can’t think about the past or the future. That’s a metaphor for life too.

Just ask @hiphopmike. Dude’s addicted 😂

I used to think staying up late was like a badge of honor.

1am. 2am. 3am. Wake up exhausted. Run on caffeine. Repeat.

Now I’m realizing… sleep isn’t soft. Sleep is part of performance.

So I’m putting myself on a 30-day challenge: power down by 9, phone in another room, wake up slow — cannot touch my phone frist 30 - 45 mins of being awake.

Leaning into journaling, stretching, walking, getting my mind right before the world starts pulling at me.

Real talk… a lot of us are sleep deprived & it shows in our performace.

Just started reading Range by David Epstein (thank you @424_ventures) and honestly… it validates a lot of what I'm thinking through in this new AI economy.

The old world rewarded people for staying in one lane. One career path. One identity. One skill set.

Now? AI can do research faster than most humans can Google. Information is everywhere. The real advantage is becoming multi-dimensional — being able to connect business, entrepreneurship, technology, relationships, wellness, communication, passion, interest, creativity, strategy… and move quickly between them.

For a long time, I wondered if having both major corporate experience AND entrepreneurial experience was a disadvantage.

Now I realize that Diversity is exactly the superpower this AI era demands.

Do you feel your background is ready to capitalize on this new AI generation?

I used to think I could outwork exhaustion.

Erratic sleep. Late nights. Random wakeups. Running on caffeine and adrenaline. And eventually my body stopped knowing when to focus, when to recover, when to be alert… everything just felt off.

What I’m realizing now is this — sleep isn’t lazy. Sleep is performance.

If you want more energy at work, more patience with your kids, a sharper mind, a healthier body… your sleep matters. We talk all day about productivity, discipline, and success, but a lot of us are running on empty and wondering why we feel burnt out.

Real talk — how many hours of quality sleep are you actually getting right now?

Not afraid to admit - Burnout is real!

For years, I treated life like a Corporate treadmill stuck on pace 10, incline 9 — always pushing, always climbing, always chasing the next deal. And eventually it caught up to me physically, mentally, emotionally… all of it.

A lot of highly driven people don’t realize they’re burning out because society rewards exhaustion. We celebrate being “always on,” running on caffeine and adrenaline, answering emails at midnight like it’s a badge of honor. Until one day your body starts pushing back.

And for the outliers who can work 24/7 for decades and still feel fulfilled, congrats. But for me? I want success AND health. I want to enjoy my career, my relationships, my life. No title or paycheck is worth completely losing yourself in the process.

Real talk… how many people out here blindly chasing success & closer to burnout than they want to admit?

Anybody else wake up tired even after “sleeping”?

I’m starting to realize my body’s been confused for a long time — random sleep times, late nights, inconsistent routines… always pushing harder, always trying to catch up. And eventually my body stopped knowing when it’s supposed to focus, recover, or rest.

The wild part? I spent tons of money on supplements, coffee, productivity hacks, all that ish… but ignored sleep like it’s optional.

I’m learning the hard way that real energy starts the night before.

Focused on winding down earlier and setting up consistent sleep patterns.

Yo… stress gets stored in the hips, the glutes, the body.

Assisted pigeon pose with a couple yoga blocks has been huge for my rebuilding process.

Tight hips, tight glutes, years of stress and grinding… still working through it.

Get into some deep stretches. Slow down. Breathe.

Let the body release what the mind’s been carrying.
