Day 2 at the Tom Ferry Success Summit in Anaheim.

Today’s conversations explored the business from very different—and equally valuable—perspectives. Matt Farnham from Las Vegas spoke about identity and authority, while Andrew Undem broke down sales at the mechanical level. That session was particularly interesting: understanding not only what works, but why it works.

The day also included guest speakers, roundtables and a great opportunity to connect with fellow agents from Beverly Hills, Brentwood and Laguna Niguel. Learning, exchanging ideas and returning to the business with a sharper perspective.

How much can the Mills Act matter when buying a historic LA home?

More than most buyers realize.
This 1920s Mediterranean and Spanish Revival landmark pairs potential property tax savings with the kind of architectural character you cannot fake. Historic Cultural Monument status, arched French doors, crown moldings, hardwood floors, dramatic formal rooms, and a preserved butler’s pantry give it true old Los Angeles pedigree.
For the right buyer, the Mills Act is not just a perk. It is part of the strategy.

Beverlywood realtor @naomiselick converted to Judaism. Before this, she grew up in Argentina, where her father needed extra protection because he worked in the oil business and they were kidnapping oil execs. Check out this story about her armed guard.

Convert @naomiselick took a winding path to becoming Jewish — and specifically, Orthodox Jewish. Naomi, who had a very interesting childhood due to the nature of her father’s work, discovered Judaism in Los Angeles. She eventually converted in Israel, in Kfar Chabad, which was a magical experience. Today, she is a proud observant Jew, wife, mother, and a successful realtor in the Beverlywood neighborhood of LA. Listen to her inspiring story on “Choosing to Be Chosen” on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.

There’s a moment in every remodel when something shifts…
The cabinets go up, the island takes form, and you suddenly feel the life that’s about to happen here. Morning light. Family meals. Quiet nights. All the little moments that make a house feel like home.

1,000 pounds of trash. That's how much we removed from the streets of Pico-Robertson yesterday, per the Sanitation Department!

Other tidbits:
-60 people attended, not counting the members of @laconservancy @cd5losangeles CD5 office, and @soro_nc which bought everyone drinks and kosher pizza. So considerate!

-@cbsnews and @kcalnews played the story 3 times that night!

-Girl scouts (thanks to Sabrina Damast) and boy scouts (thanks to Harold C Schloss) earned their merit badges, and we are the better for it.

-Everyone sang Feliz Cumpleaños to Karina who donated her school @intiwasila Spanish Immersion School as the headquarters. On her birthday weekend.

-A member of Mayor Karen Bass's office lives locally, loves what he saw, and wants to be looped into future efforts. We are meeting later this week. Can't hurt.

-Every year it will be on the first Sunday after the Jewish holidays end. So next year, please save the date, it will be October 19th!

-On the suggestion of parents, we can offer this as official community service hours in the future. So for many students with that requirement, this will have an added incentive.

-Several of the volunteers insisted we do this far more often, even monthly. While I simply don't have the capacity for such a thing myself, I love how inspiring this was. A few youngsters with physical and mental disabilities included. And hope next year to get far more adults, because these kids were amazing, but need to see you as the role models, so let's make that happen. ❤️
