King chop 2.0 lives!

Incredibly quick turn around by our friends at @nas_performance & The Car Spa (@brandonburgler ) getting to the bottom of what blew up the last motor, sourcing and outfitting the new one (w some upgrades ofc) & getting the car all back together with a freshly rebuilt 6spd in there too.

All ready for our date with @willtunefortacos & @preracing next week

Day 136: Sometimes the hardest part of building a racecar is just waiting for parts to show up.

My @nas_performance front axle spacers finally made it out to the country, which means I can keep moving forward with the 08+ WRX front knuckle and bolt-in wheel bearing conversion on the GC8.

These 6061 aluminum spacers allow the newer bolt-in-bearing knuckles to work with the older Subaru axle setup. Today I show where they install, why they're necessary, and how they solve one more little compatibility problem in this front knuckle conversion.

One thing a day. Even when that one thing depends on the mailman.
