Ball rolls 🎀

Rolls are fundamental in rhythmic gymnastics, requiring control, precision, and continuous contact with the apparatus.

Small details make a big difference — clean pathways, soft hands, and full control throughout the movement.

Backbend progression 🎀

Every skill is built step by step.
Starting with support, developing control, and progressing towards full movement is key for safe and effective back flexibility.

Respect the process — progress takes time.

Ball basics in rhythmic gymnastics 🎾

These are fundamental ball skills that build coordination, control, and confidence with the apparatus. Mastering the basics is essential before moving on to more complex throws, rolls, and combinations. Whether you’re a beginner or revisiting foundations, strong basics always make everything else feel easier.

Improving your splits isn’t about forcing flexibility — it’s about preparing the body properly.

These 6 exercises focus on:
✔️ strength + flexibility
✔️ active control
✔️ safe progression

Do them regularly, be patient, and let your flexibility grow with time. 💜

Save this for your next stretching session ✨

Quick look at DAs (Difficulty of Apparatus) with hoop ✨

It’s all about control, connection and timing — one small miss and the whole element changes!

That’s what makes rhythmic gymnastics so fascinating… the details matter so much.

Hey everyone 👋
I’m Ainhoa — director & founder of @nasticgymnastics 💜

This new space is a little more me: the person behind the classes, the ideas, the long days (and coffee cups ☕).
Here I’ll share bits of my daily life, thoughts about coaching & gymnastics, little lessons, and real moments — the good, the messy, and everything in between.

Thanks for being here 🤍
