POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Most of your perimenopause symptoms probably aren’t from low estrogen.

And most of what you’ve been told to do about them is making things worse.

That’s what this series is about.

If you’re over 40 and you’re gaining weight, sleeping badly, feeling anxious, bloated, exhausted, puffy or just completely unlike yourself, and you’ve already tried cutting calories, cutting carbs, fasting, supplements, HRT, or just trying harder this is for you.
Not because those things are always wrong.

But because nobody has properly explained why they’re not working for you specifically. And without that, you’re just guessing.

Over the next 7 days, I’m posting 14 posts covering what’s actually happening in perimenopause:
👉Why low estrogen isn’t the whole story
👉Why more estrogen isn’t always the answer
👉Why progesterone matters more than most women are told
👉Why eating less and cutting carbs often makes symptoms worse
👉Why your thyroid, stress response, digestion and mitochondria are all part of this
👉How to train after 40 without destroying your recovery
👉How to lose fat sustainably while supporting your hormones not fighting them

This series pulls from the work of @katedeeringfitness (Better Energy), @healthygutgirlofficial (Balance Matters), and Dr Ray Peat, plus over a decade of working with 18,000+ women over 40 inside our coaching program.

I would buy both books!

I’m also bringing in our coaches @jen.ismar @ash.healthcoach @natashabwellness and @nyssa_bovenkamp throughout the series because they see the same patterns with real women every single day, and once you see the pattern, you stop blaming yourself.
Women over 40 don’t need another extreme diet or another reason to be scared of their hormones.

They need education. Context. A strategy that actually matches the body they have right now.
That’s what this is.

Drop a 🙋‍♀️ in the comments if you’re in.

And if you have a friend who’s been told to “just eat less and accept it” send this to her.

The first post drops tomorrow.

She joined our team as a coach. But first? She had a tumour removed. Lost circulation in her arm. Was diagnosed with autoimmune disease. Bled through her period so badly she thought something was seriously wrong. And spent years being dismissed.

Meet @natashabwellness NuStrength’s newest coach, nutritionist, and the woman who has genuinely been through it. 🙌

In this episode we cover:

Why she weighed 55kg at 5’9” for most of her adult life

The thyroid issue nobody caught for years

How she gained 15kg going pro-metabolic… and what she’d do differently now

Why “healing pounds” are NOT a requirement (and how she coaches women away from this)

The HRT conversation women need to hear: why adding oestrogen alone can make things WORSE

Why progesterone is the missing piece for perimenopause symptoms

What happened when she started working with Coach Ash: 17cm in 10 weeks and the strongest she’s ever been

Why coaches absolutely need coaches

Natasha’s story is proof that the body wants to heal it just needs the right support, the right fuel, and someone to actually call you on your BS. 😂

If you’ve been battling thyroid issues, hormonal chaos, or just feel like your body’s working against you, this one is for you.

I see a lot of health educators throw their weight around saying that they have more then a few decades of experience working one on one with clients, and then selling you the idea that acting based on your symptoms is just mimicking the allopathic pharma way of thinking. But what if we acknowledged our symptoms and used them as guiding lights instead of lab tests?

Natasha Snoeijer focuses on thyroid, hormone and metabolic optimization. She joins me to bring that “what about both?” energy to the health discussion. What if high dose supplementation can create long term healing? One vitamin did that for her.

She shares her thoughts on the sugar diet, how to use your bowel movements to assess your health status, how to supplement thyroid properly, why she isn’t a fan of hair tissue mineral analysis tests and what she likes instead, why candida cleanses don’t work, and lots more.
