At Hot Lunch Productions’ 4th Annual Hottie Awards Show I was honored with 3 titles– “Best Supporting Actress,” “Best Writer,” and “Crew MVP of the Year.” I’m so lucky to have a creative playground to work in, and such amazing minds to work with. Thanks to everyone for being so cool. #poetry #hotties

Pussycat Pussycat had her world premiere at Not Your Daddy’s Films and I am still buzzing!!!
Getting to watch our movie surrounded by cast, crew, friends, family, and the @nydfilms community was beyond special. Nothing can compare to hearing 200 people laugh at your jokes and gasp at your jump-scares.

AND… we were also celebrating NYDF’s 4th birthday!
In our first year of NYDF screenings, I screened my first short film. In the 4 years since, I have directed more and more and more, and grown as an artist in ways I never expected.

Pussycat Pussycat feels like the expression of that growth and all that I learned from my friends and the NYDF community. So premiering this film in the home I am grateful to have helped build was not just fitting, but truly a dream come true.

I am so proud of what we’ve built at NYDF - a community, a platform, a vibe, and most importantly… friendships. I would not be who I am, and my art would not be what it is, without my best friends and daddys. Carl, Kace, Koko, Veeks, thank you. ❤️

@partybagplugins sampled seven classic vintage synths — Prophet 5, Juno 106, DX7 and more — both digitally and through a reel-to-reel tape recorder. All of that for $29. That's the kind of thing that gets a sounds-forward producer going.

You write a hit today and you're not seeing money from it for a year or two. Sessions run noon to six. Figure out the hours around that and protect them. He was a manny every morning at 6am — whatever it takes.

Your Instagram is your resume. Nobody's handing out CVs in a session — they're pulling up your page to see who you are and what you've done. Post your wins.

Now live 🎙️ Producer Points Roundtable — How To Make It In LA

The number one question Justin gets — in DMs, in person, at mentoring events, from his aunt’s cousin’s brother-in-law’s friend’s kid — is “How do I make it in LA?”

Justin sits down with @kylereynoldsmusic, @tylermeetsworld, and @nateflaks to talk about what actually works — networking, cold DMs, social media, writing hundreds of songs, word of mouth, and everything nobody warns you about.
