Optimism is not blind hope. It is a grounded prerequisite for action and the evidence that systems can change direction. During THE NAT GALA 2026, we screened The Science of Optimism, a @studioprince__ film featuring @thomascrowtherofficial. Crowther explains how feedback loops can drive both collapse and recovery. Reminding us that humans are an active part of nature’s systems, the film moves through forests, rainfall, food production, restoration, technology and human behaviour, showing how regenerative options can cascade into positive tipping points. Systems can change direction, and we can help drive that change. A @studioprince__ film, directed by @nathan____prince, with an original score by @f_i_l_i_p_e_g_o_m_e_s.

New York has a particular energy today. In a few hours, THE NAT GALA will bring culture, conservation and capital together around a shared purpose: giving Nature the time, space and backing it needs. The night will celebrate the people protecting Nature, raise funds for their work and build the relationships that can take that work further. It’s game time. #THENATGALA2026 #THENATGALA #WaterIsLife

Nature Returns- THE NAT “A living metaphor for growth and interconnection, Nature Returns reimagines proof-of-impact as a visual poem: anchored in the idea that we are nature, it regenerates existing material into a carbon-neutral work, carrying the themes of regeneration, joy, and nature as a contemporary cultural force. Fragments of farming, fishing, fashion, seascapes, and biodiversity form a wider choreography of renewal. The soundtrack mirrors nature’s energy and our place within it, the power of land, sky, and ocean, and the fragility of inhabitation. A non-linear imprint, it is a regenerative collage that reminds us that when we invest in nature, nature returns.” Studio Prince collaborated with @thenat____ ,@incaevent & @sunshinecompany to make two films for the inageral NAT GALA that kicked off Climate Week in New York last month. You can find ‘Redefining Heroes’ on the grid, too. We worked to an ultra low carbon target and hit just 0.18 tCO₂e. We then offset 2 tonnes through Gold Standard projects in Colombia and Panama, more than 10× our footprint, making the films carbon neutral, regenerative, and giving back more than they took. Directed by @nathan____prince & @whitneyconti.tv Original Score by @f_i_l_i_p_e_g_o_m_e_s For full credits, visit studio-prince.co

Being part of this project was a real privilege, learning how each of us can become stewards of nature. We had access to extraordinary archives and real-world projects that are already helping to change our planet. And yes, it looked awesome too! 🙌 We worked to an ultra low carbon target and hit just 0.18 tCO₂e. We then offset 2 tonnes through Gold Standard projects in Colombia and Panama, more than 10× our footprint, making the films carbon neutral, regenerative, and giving back more than they took. Thanks to @joeshortphoto for the snaps and @thenat____ for their amazing inspiration. Full credits of the work on our site.

Redefining Heroes - THE NAT “A study in portraiture and presence, an exhale carried with breath, intimacy, and gaze. Redefining heroes, defined less by feats of strength than by care, responsibility, and their contribution to community. A rhythmical flow creating a new portrait for today – an emotional exhale that honours new heroes leading the way.” Studio Prince collaborated with @thenat____ ,@incaevent & @sunshinecompany to make two films for the inageral NAT GALA that kicked off Climate Week in New York last month. We look forward to sharing our ‘Nature Returns’ film later this week! As we continue our journey to put nature front and centre in culture, we are inspired by those leading the way. Those redefining what it means to be a hero today. Most aren’t flashy. They spend years toiling away working behind the scenes to bend the arc of history toward justice, fairness, prosperity. They speak up. They push through. They make tough decisions. They lay groundwork for all those who might come after them. To bring this idea to life we commissioned @nathan____prince and the team at @studioprince__ to create a visual poem to honor them and their work. ‘Redefining Heroes’ uses 100% found footage and imagery. This film honours those leading the way for nature, from global environmental defenders to a new wave of innovators in fashion, art and culture. It reflects on heroism as care, courage and community.
