The first episode of LOST @officiallosttv premiered 22 years ago on SEPTEMBER 22nd, 2004! I watched the series religiously through its entire six season run. It is still one of my all-time favorite TV series! With that in mind… On SEPTEMBER 21st, 2011 @nathan_fackrell and I directed our fourth YO GABBA GABBA episode “FARM” @yogabbagabba (also wrote and edited). We cast @officialjoshholloway (Sawyer from LOST, my favorite character) as Farmer Josh! It’s still one of the most incredible filmmaking experiences of my life. Extra bonus having @drdogmusic on the episode and having my daughter Mia @miafackrell2 (seven years old at the time) narrate the “storytime” about Sally, our adorable golden retriever :) A couple years following the premiere Josh appeared on @queenlatifah where he talked about the shoot day, I added in of video of him several years later answering questions about filming the episode.

The incredible BIGFOOT costume that @salami_dasani_ beautifully designed and built for NO ONE BELIEVES IN ME was stolen before we screened the film at @edfilmfest this past week! It was last seen in the car trunk of writer/director @anabellelmx that was parked on Buena Vista Terrace in Eagle Rock, California. The costume was inside a blue duffel bag and stolen Sunday, July 12th in the middle of the night. If the costume isn’t returned, there’s a good chance a vengeful Bigfoot (probably a few of them) will stop at nothing to seek out the thief, during the darkest of nights, to find and return the costume. #bigfoot #sasquatch #missing

We had an incredible experience this past week at the Edinburgh International Film Festival @edfilmfest in Scotland with premiering Anabelle LeMieux’s @anabellelmx NO ONE BELIEVES IN ME our first film project we produced through @picture11studios that Anabelle wrote, directed and stars in. This is her second year in a row with a film at EIFF (a hard feat to pull off). We made friends with a lot of incredible people, both in and out of the film industry, with many professional relationships that have already begun and will be long lasting. Special THANK YOU to @draperspencer for sponsoring this trip! NO ONE BELIEVES IN ME - Written and Directed by @anabellelmx Anabelle LeMieux / financed and produced by @fackrellbrothers and @picture11studios will have its WORLD PREMIERE at The Edinburgh International Film Festival @edfilmfest in Scotland next week!!! Other than our own directing work, the only projects Nathan and I strictly produced were non-film production projects like the ECLIPSE FILM FESTIVAL (1999-2004) and the GUERILLA FILM COMPETITION (2000-2003), but this changed last year when I received a fiery email from my dear friend and fellow filmmaker, Anabelle LeMieux, with a short film script titled NO ONE BELIEVES IN ME which she had written in three days. Her no holds barred email and phenomenal script were so in step with our creative philosophy that Me and Nathan offered to finance and produce the short immediately after reading the script. We set filming dates with Anabelle for No One Believes In Me that we never wavered from and decided to shoot the short on 16mm film under our new cinematic venture and celluloid only production house, PICTURE 11 studios. As Nathan recovered in Utah from his second major spinal surgery, production for No One Believes in Me took place on location in Arcata California. Working with Anabelle and the rest of the creative team was one of greatest filmmaking experiences of my life and what inspired Nathan and I to create the GUERILLA GRANT (a no-strings attached short film grant meant to discover new talent and help ignite industry wide creative momentum). Anabelle has written the feature film script for NO ONE BELIEVES IN ME and it is phenomenal. ALFRED HITCHCOCK had a tradition on the set of his films. When finishing a cup of tea, he would often toss the cup and saucer over his shoulder, letting it fall or break wherever it may. You can see a TEACUP stain on Hitch’s storyboards for ROPE. The entire ROPE collection (what we believe is the BLUEPRINT OF PURE CINEMA) is available for auction with Heritage Auctions THIS TUESDAY MORNING (July 14th) at 9AM PST. www.HA.com / fackrellbrothers.tv/rope @alfredhitchcockofficial @heritageauctions @heritage__entertainment @arrcolintait @picture11studios
