I hope heaven has the most comfy hammocks & beautiful mountain tops for you to see.. There won't be a day that goes by that I won't think of you and miss you.. I'll miss the way you'd listen to me go on and on. I'll miss your hugs. Your jokes. Your laugh. The way you could make me laugh.. The last thing you ever said to me was that everything would be okay and you gave me this big hug, a kiss on the forehead and told me you loved me.. I'll forever cherish that.. It felt like something in the universe just knew..
And I hope one day that everything will be okay. But for now, my heart is absolutely broken. There's so much more you had planned to do. So much more you wanted to see. You deserved to do it all.. You lived more within the 28 years you were given than most people do in their entire lives. You were wild, you were funny, you were free and you were loving. And I hope you know just how loved you truly were.
I'm so glad that life brought us together. I only wish we had more time.. You helped me understand what love really means. What hoping for forever with someone meant.. I never felt that before you.. I'll forever cherish every single second I got with you. The best of times, having fun adventures or watching movies and just holding hands or even the times we butted heads and fussed with each other.. I'd do it all again with you.
No matter what, you were always my person.. the love I have for you never left and it never will. There will never be anyone else like you.. I don't know how I'll ever go on without you around.
I hope to make you proud of me, one day. Proud of lil Liam.. he loved you so much. He thought the world of you. And I'll make sure he knows all about you..
Save me a spot up there and another hug, will ya? Until I see you again. You'll always be in my heart. I'll always love you, Nathan. 💜

5 1/2 year old @nickshandmadeboots builder pros in Wickett and Craig english bridle with matching belt. (Bonus pictures of around when I got them and climbed a mountain in them)

I have probably walked a couple thousand miles in them.

Hiked to the top of the highest point in MN, it was a very rewarding experience.
