Imagine a concert where you form a circle around the performer and enjoy the concert from 6 ft away. Well that is exactly what John Legend did for our last night. Arriving by boat It was simply John Legend, his piano and my friends. Gathered in a circle I was able to see the faces of my friends enjoying the concert and the realization that Pam had truly created a once in a lifetime experience for everyone. Thank you Pam .... with much love from all of US !!!

OK ... that evening, the surprises just kept coming as Broadway’s Colby Lewis (from Hamilton fame) gifted me with an original song he wrote about my journey through the years, and then performed it for us in Lake Como, Italy.

The time and effort he spent writing the lyrics and music then performing them with warmth and musical artistry made his thoughtful tribute a genuinely humbling experience.

Talking to him after the performance was like talking to an old friend since he knew so much about my life!

Colby’s work spans Broadway, television and film, yet nothing demonstrates his range quite like seeing him transform years of someone’s life into a few minutes of music that honors the path they’ve traveled.

Thank you, Colby, for a song and performance that made this celebration unforgettable!

My father had a clear answer when I asked him about my mother’s talent in the kitchen and that glowing assessment has held true across nearly a century of family gatherings and celebrations.

She has also maintained a perfect record of birthday wishes that spans my entire life and I’m immensely grateful for that love and devotion as she enters her 98th year. Happy Birthday, Mom!

Continuing that evening, we entered a Jazz club that featured the amazing female jazz vocalist @nicolehenrymusic. Surrounded by 70,000 roses (guess where that number came from), she performed the great American songbook.

Not to mention that we began the evening with Chef @MassimoBottura personally preparing his signature pasta fagiole and painted steak.

ODDMAXXING 🍆🍑
Dream partnerships don’t happen often, but when @hoodares collaborated with @oddboxldn on their latest campaign, the outcome could only lean one way: weird, wonderful and slightly odd.

It was an absolute joy to steer the art direction for ‘An Ode To Oddity’ and get hands-on with all aspects of the TVC, including holding up a giant aubergine. Available for deep squats and lunges.

It was time to wake our friends up early for the daytime concert with @earthwindandfire!! The third act of our five-day signature lineup, even playing Pam’s and my theme song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” a song they admitted they had never performed before and probably would never perform again!

As the day opened with a stunning display by synchronized swimmers in the shimmering water, guests enjoyed delicious, ice-cold cocktails in the brilliant Italian sun.

One of the most memorable first dates Pam and I had was attending a @MariahCarey concert, which was why we wanted her to perform. Not only did she perform, she "knocked it out of the park" playing many of the songs from that concert we attended. She truly personalized the evening and made it so enjoyable. A special gift we truly appreciated.

Her performance got everyone going, dancing late into the night, and the aviation-themed setting commemorated a journey that’s given me decades of relationships I’ll never take for granted!

Brilliant sunshine, dramatic mountain backdrops and sparkling lake views marked the beginning of our second day at Lake Como and guests began to realize this was more than a birthday party; it was a perfect excuse to bring lifelong friends and loved ones together and celebrate our time together.

As twilight fell, Sir @eltonjohn treated us to a private concert beneath the stars, where the rendition of his song “Benny and the Jets” was changed to “Kenny and the Jets”!

The festivities continued late into the night in the majestic and intimate mosaic garden.

The most extraordinary gift was bringing my Father to the celebration, even though he has been gone for 34 years. The use of a 3D Hologram (an absolutely amazing technology) enabled us to relive his humor, mannerisms and inspirational wisdom. Many of my family and friends knew him, so it was such a touching moment to have him here with us. Just an incredible gift to me, my Mom, those who knew and loved him and my children who had never met him!

A vibrant display of flowers, cocktails and special treats welcomed friends and family to Lake Como to kick off five magical days of birthday celebration.

As everyone arrived, mingling and music filled the rooms; ushered into the ballroom, the first surprise of the event was the famous Italian singer, Laura Pausini, who performed many beautiful Italian love songs, including her career-making La Solitudine.

After catching up over a delicious dinner, the enthusiasm and excitement flowed to the dance floor, where we let loose and set the tone for a week to remember.

It’s our job to introduce our clients to ideas, opportunities and details that they may not have known were possible. Our client destination celebrations range from privatizing a national monument for a breakfast concert with an absolute legend, to an amazing race competition of iconic tennis courts on land (and sea!) - and hundreds of destination parties and experiences in between. Pamela welcomed friends and family to our recent Lake Como celebration with a warmth that set the stage for five epic days that none of us will ever forget.

The care she put into every detail created an atmosphere where friendships deepened and conversations ran late, honoring my father’s belief that every day should be approached as if it might be one of your best.
