Located in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, Mana Contemporary Chicago is a warehouse designed by noted Chicago architect George Nimmons. This landmark building is now home to dozens of artists’ studios and exhibition spaces. Different floors contain studios and exhibition spaces, so the architecture supports both private production and public viewing.

Presented as part of the Chicago Architecture Center’s Open House Chicago, the free public event offers visitors an opportunity to explore Mana Contemporary’s distinctive industrial architecture.
On-site artist activations in collaboration with Monira Foundation include a new project called 4x4: Contemporary Art in Chicago, an annual series of four short films about local artists, each directed by a Chicago-based filmmaker produced by @pentimentiproductions

Mana Contemporary Chicago, in collaboration with @monirafoundation , invites the public to join us in celebrating our landmark building as part of @openhousechicago during our Fall Open Studios.

💎 re~visión ~ Chillona del Bosque 1+2 de Natalia Villanueva Linares en MANA Contemporary Art Chicago

🌿 This weekend, discover Chillona of the Forest.2, a new exhibition by French-Peruvian artist Natalia Villanueva Linares.

Through film, sound, photography, and installation, Villanueva Linares transforms years of written secrets, collected rainwater, and branches gathered in Tennessee and Chicago into a poetic exploration of memory, vulnerability, and transformation.
