@native_youth_foundation @ca.indigenous._athletes WITH
@ahmangreen30 .
Kicked off August with @siouxperman605 on his Rez (Lower Brule South Dakota )
His commitment to better his community and youth is also something that pushes myself to do more .
There making stuff possible with limited resources, getting able to share our knowledge of any resources we have with them is a blessing.
We had over 80 youth come through total of 100 people with community members involved Day 1 camp .
Day 2 we had 40 youth show up for the round robin flag football tournament with the middle school and high school teams participating.
Girls flag football and flag football alone is the fastest growing sport. It’s a great resource to get your kids outside and also introduced to the game of football.
DM if you want have us out to your community or Reservation

History made at the home of the Vikings. In Partnership with the Minnesota Vikings & @nfl, @nativeathletes & @goodmorningindiancountry gave me the opportunity to cover the best Native High School football players in the nation. This marks the 3rd time our athletes have taken over U.S. Bank stadium, proving that Native talent belongs on the biggest stage. Huge shoutout to @ndnsports for helping launch this incredible tradition 🪶

**3 Championship Titles & 2 meet Records**

L is the USATF 34th Indoor Champion in the 13/14 girls
60m dash - 7.67
200m dash - 25.95
Long jump -5.42

Two Records Broken:
60m - 7.67 final (L beat her 7.73 prelim record breaker)
Long jump - 5.42m (17ft 9.5in)

I loved talking to L after the race and hearing how proud she was of herself. She talked about her goals, wrote them in her journal, and executed!

Amazing job competing L!
