I just found this message on Facebook from a friend and man did I need it 🙏🏼 These past few months have kicked my A** like never before. I’ve been holding it in, trying 2hide. Thank u for this. love u🩷

“I’ve been thinking about what you shared, especially when you said you felt forgotten by people you thought were your friends.

I know that feeling more than I wish I did.

After I retired from the Army, there were a lot of days where it felt like people forgot about me. Twenty-two years of serving, deployments, sacrifices, and leading soldiers… then one day the phone gets quieter, the invitations stop, and you realize the world keeps moving. It’s a lonely feeling.

That’s why your words hit me.

I’ve known you for over a while, and I’ve watched you build an incredible life. You built a business . You’ve earned the trust of people most only hear about, and you’ve done it through hard work, dedication, sacrifice, talent, and heart. But what people see is the successful business owner.

I see the woman behind all of that.

I see the daughter who would choose her mom over and over again, even when it’s exhausting. I see someone who’s been carrying the weight of everyone else for a long time. I see someone trying to be everything to everyone, and that’s a burden most people will never truly understand.

Please don’t mistake being tired for being weak. Even the strongest people reach a point where the weight catches up to them. That doesn’t erase your strength. It proves how much you’ve been carrying. I’ve been there.

Your mom doesn’t need a perfect daughter. She needs you. And from everything I’ve seen over the last decade, you’ve shown up with more love, sacrifice, and grace than most people ever could.

So if you ever start believing you’ve been forgotten, remember this:

You are not forgotten.

I see the sacrifices no one applauds. I see the tears you try to hide. I see the nights you’re exhausted but still choose to show up. I see your heart.

And I’m really proud of you.

Keep going, friend. Not because you have to prove anything to anyone, but because the woman you’ve become is someone worth admirin

Not gonna lie… I made this video about 50 times because I have SO many emotions right now. 😂🩷

One minute I’m beyond excited, and the next I’m like, HOLY SH*T, WHAT AM I DOING?! 😂

It’s been SIX YEARS since I’ve had a set schedule doing brows, and I can’t believe I’m actually doing this again!

As much as I’ve loved the freedom to travel, make my own schedule, and go wherever life takes me, I’ve realized something… my purest joy comes from doing what I love most. MY ART. MY BROWS. MY PEOPLE. 🥹🩷

And maybe it’s time to plant my feet in one place again and let everything else work around that.

So here goes nothing…

The excitement. The anticipation. The little moments leading up to a day we’ll never forget.

Butterfly season at The Brow Bar. 🦋💗

Yesterday, we cocooned up and welcomed @kelleybakerbrows into our salon for private training with our team.

These women put so much care into their work. Being able to give them a day to learn together, ask questions, and receive guidance from someone we admire meant so much to us.

Kelley, thank you for spending this day with us and sharing what you know so generously.

I told y’all past me would lose her shit. And she absolutely would. 🥹💗

Last year, Junior and I had just taken over the salon. I walked into a training eager to learn, still figuring out how to turn my own experience into something I could teach a team.

Yesterday, we flew @kelleybakerbrows to Dallas to privately train the women building The Brow Bar with us.

Our artists got to watch her work, work on their own models, ask questions, and get feedback directly from her.

An opportunity I once showed up for as a student became an opportunity we could give our team. That part gets me.

This is the pink dream I want to keep building: a place where women can turn their talent into a career and keep growing together.

To the clients who trusted me at my kitchen island, and everyone supporting us now—you’re part of how we got here.
