LIFE BY ALICIA | CREATIVE SPOTLIGHT

A little wearable art. A whole lot of woman. Can we just take a moment to appreciate these GORGEOUS handmade earrings?!

Today I’m showing some love to my talented friend Natalie, @nattymagoo, a Métis beadwork artist based in Manitoba.

This is actually my SECOND custom pair from Natalie, and there’s a reason I keep coming back! I love being part of the creative process, from choosing my colours to deciding on the perfect length. She turns my ideas into something uniquely me.

And the DETAILS! The female silhouette, the intricate beadwork, the creativity behind every little bead. These aren’t just earrings. They’re wearable art!

One thing about me? I’ll ALWAYS be a cheerleader for creative people doing their thing!

Go show my girl @nattymagoo some love!

Super blessed to make so many new friendships during my time in Sápmi, Norway at the World Indigenous Broadcasters Network conference! ✨

I loved learning about the similarities between all our cultures and the passion we all have as storytellers! I hope I get to see you all again soon and I’m so grateful for my Whakaata Māori whānau for having me in this epic haerenga!

Just finished creating this beautiful rainbow ribbon skirt, and I couldn’t be prouder! Each ribbon was carefully sewn onto the floral fabric, combining vibrant colors with traditional beauty. This piece celebrates joy, resilience, and the power of creativity. Handmade with love for my friend @nattymagoo it’s a reflection of culture and pride. 💖 #RibbonSkirt #Handmade #RainbowVibes #IndigenousArt

Stormy beach vibes are my new favourite.

I couldn't have asked for better lighting for both of Zoe's sessions.

Sunny summer vibes and stormy sunsets for the win!

Congrats Zoe and good luck on your new adventure into Nursing!

Who knew using chalk in a photo shoot could create such a mesmerizing effect? Scott Carnegie, our video production specialist, recently collaborated with Zoe Batkis from @centralcheermb and her mom on this stunning photo and video session. We love finding inspiration in unexpected places.
