Something Unexpected This Way Comes... "We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out." ~ Ray Bradbury When I traveled to the Tetons a couple of weeks ago for the Out of Chicago Grand Teton conference, I did not expect to find myself drawn to making more traditional images of the landscape than I've been accustomed to for nearly ten years now...but I was, and I did. I've traveled a lot of places over the past several years, and I've never found it difficult to create using my usual ICM and multiple exposure techniques...but the Tetons in all their splendid glory challenged me in that regard. I found myself wanting...needing...to see, to make, and to experience the landscape there differently, and as a result I have a lot of new images that are quite different than what I've become known for. I've spent more than a week on and off with these three images...working with my processing of them to be sure they say what I want them to say. I have hundreds more images from the Tetons to sort through, but this particular morning was so spectacular and memorable that I immediately went straight to the images made that morning, and because I wanted to be sure I was doing these three images justice with my conversion, especially because black & white is a new way of seeing for me, I've wanted to take my time with them. The journey of my creative evolution continues...with more to come. ----------------------------------------- #IntentionalCreativeMoments #OutOfChicago #GrandTetonNationalPark #BlackAndWhitePhotography #LandscapePhotography

Wszyscy dzielimy ten sam Zielony Dom. 🌎📸 Wydruki Fine Art & Współpraca / Fine Art Prints & Collaboration: 👉 https://www.inthewild.pl/ Dzika przyroda, Wildlife, Great egret, Czapla biała, Fotografia artystyczna, Fotografia artystyczna zwierząt, Wydruki artystyczne . . #NatureFirst #WildlifePhotography #AnimalPhotography #FotografiaZwierząt #FotografiaPrzyrody #NaturePhotography #FineArtWildlifePhotography #PolishNature #PtakiWObiektywie #FineArtPrints #LimitedEdition #InTheWild #DolinaBaryczy #BaryczValley @canonpolska @canoneurope

SHED THE OLD TO PREPARE FOR GROWTH- In life we have to rid ourselves of old habits that no longer, or never did, work for us. It is NOT to get rid of everything, basically we exfoliate ourselves. Autumn has begun in Sequoia National Park and it reminds me of how beautiful life is in all stages. Different and Gorgeous! - EYE CONTACT - I believe eye contact is lacking in today’s world. This Mother Bear kept a watch on me as I did her. In her world I could be a threat to her and her cubs. In our modern world we don’t have to watch for threats as much today, we are digitally distracted, and we lose the special gift of eye contact that lets us know we are seen. I encourage you to make eye contact more important than your phone today when out in public. MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT #visaliaphotographer #natureheals #blackbear #wildlifephotography

Closer than usual! Many of you have asked how close I get to the Bears when I’m blessed enough to see them. Here is cell phone video of an encounter yesterday, that was closer than usual as they walked out in front of me as I was walking along the trail. It is always such a gift to experience wildlife. I spend time recharging in nature so that I may: MAKE A POSITIVE W #visaliaphotographer #forestbathing🌲🌲🌲 #livelifetothefullest❤️ #bears

#argentina #nature #tapir #parquenacionalelrey #parquenacional
