[in:flux @hkcronline live 003] The collaboration with NAZ @naz__live is like a perfect representation of a cosmic interplay. We didn’t have a mastery plan to execute. started with whatever was around, mic’d up singing bowl, fan, pen, jinglings going through effect box, then NAZ used her operatic singings responding to it, then we used machines answering her. Just like this, every sound appears as an organic response to the environment, one after another, we have a jazz.

Announcing our new series ‘Art After Hours’ at Fugue Gallery. Tonight’s guest list is fully booked, but stay tuned for the next.

For our first edition of ‘After Hours’ we’ll be joined by N/A(Z) @duality.live a Brooklyn-based Turkish multidisciplinary artist working with sound, new media, and live performance. Her practice operates as a system of translation: field recordings, scanned objects, and improvised Turkish vocal cries are reconfigured into XR worlds, immersive installations, and live audiovisual performances — to reveal reality as a re-configurable system.

Wine provided by our friends at Benovia Winery @benoviawinery

Sake provided by our friends at SOTO @sotosake

Kombucha (alcohol free) provided by our friends at Good Mood Kombucha @goodmoodkombucha

Fawaffles served by our friends at musha @musha.nyc

Pain and struggle never disappear from the journey.

Even so,
I choose to trust myself,
and trust the world.

Instead of closing my heart,
I want to remain open—
walking toward a deeper understanding of the world.

This gathering lives in that moment.

Embodied Perception Lab #01
Experimental Meetup

Maybe we cannot find new questions alone.

When the body touches the world,
when we encounter others,
something begins to emerge.

Embodied Perception Lab is an experimental gathering exploring the relationship between body, technology, and art.

Rather than presenting finished works, we invite artists and participants to experiment together through performance, movement, sound, digital media, dialogue, and shared experience.

Whether you come to observe, participate, or simply be present, you become part of the experiment.

In NAZ’s world, music is less of a product and more of an ongoing experiment of the human condition. Her work–intertwining the ever-evolving electronic music scene with her ancestral roots and classical training, is something that stops listeners in their tracks.

we talked with the 24 year old Brooklyn based musician about creative identity, cultural roots, and breaking out of classical training into experimental electronic music.
