🎬✨ Lights, camera, PREMIERE! ✨🎬

What a time for MovieMaker! At the Sacred Heart University Community Theatre, our filmmakers walked the red carpet and watched 21 original short films hit the big screen, with friends, family, and supporters filling the seats. 🎥❤️

From proud families posing for photos to a packed house buzzing with anticipation, the energy was unforgettable. Every story on that screen started as an idea this summer, and seeing them come to life in front of a live audience was a moment these young storytellers will never forget. 🌟

Director Jason Cicci welcomed the crowd and introduced the films, offering heartfelt thanks to:
🙏 Matt Oestreicher, Executive Director
🙏 Alex Vishno of A2V Media
🙏 The Schloss Family Foundation
🙏 The Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation
🙏 Our incredible MovieMaker instructors

Your support and dedication made this summer a huge success for storytellers. Thank you! 🎞️

Congratulations to all of our filmmakers. We're so proud of you! 👏

Seriously, nothing helps indie films more than a review. Plus, you don’t want to make Maria mad.

Script to Screen: In the first draft, Edgar told the Pandora story. But, during rewrites, as I got to know the characters better, I discovered that Frank likes to read. #chromapresents #thestrangedark #indiefilm #screenwriting

Script to Screen: In this moment, it’s about danger, tea, and secrets, but it’s also about hiding Easter Eggs to my two favorite video games: Half-Life and Portal. #chromapresents #indiefilm #thestrangedark #thestrangedarkmovie #scifimovies
