Throwback to my last choir concert at MSU :(. I had the honor of conducting my lovely lovely Schola Cantorum (affectionately dubbed Scho Scho), as well as singing with both them and State Singers. I’m so grateful for what choir has given to me, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put it all into words. I love you all. Someday I’ll meet you again <3

One word: Grateful🥹

This week, I had the opportunity to be a part of my first singing tour with State Singers. Transparently, when transitioning from Northeast to Mississippi State, I didn’t know how it was going to go, how people would receive me, or how they would respond to who I am and what comes with me. However, this week was proof that I chose the right university. Originally, I was blessed and honored to be a part of the top choir, but during this tour, I was even more honored and blessed to be a part of a family🥹. @msu_statesings , thank you. Every member who made sure my clothes were okay, checked that I had all of my things even while I was being accountable for myself, spoke encouragement to me in every performance, and overall loved and supported me — I can never thank you enough. I didn’t just join a choir, I gained a covering and a group of people who love me for who I am, and I’m so grateful to God for all of you🫶🏾. Thank you for taking a former nonverbal in and letting me love on y’all the best way I know how. You are proof that God really loves me🥹❤️. Most importantly, thank you God for reminding me that You are intentional and that You hear every request I have toward You🥹. #HailState🐾 #ToGodForeverBeTheGlory🙌🏾❤️

A beautiful evening in Chelsea for choral music!! Dr. Stockton led the Vox Anima London Singers in Philip Stopford’s Missa Deus nobiscum tonight at Cadogan Hall!! It was a wonderful experience and we are all still singing the music in the tube. #hailstate #statesings

Dr. Phillip Stockton is leading members of five different choirs from the United States and United Kingdom in a performance with Vox Anima on Sunday in Cadogan Hall this Sunday in London! A few photos of the rehearsal in St. James Church in Eaton Square with the combination of musicians.
