Good morning everyone. Sunday, in the #JJ Photo Forum, we do a "Week's Best" theme. Show us a couple pictures you are most proud of from last week. This killer shot from yesterday’s “Mobile Only” theme by @nbluxstudio will start us out this week. Love it. Our tag is #jj_forum_2069.

Are you new to the community? It's not as confusing as it seems at first. :-). Here's the deal.
.
Sometimes it can be hard to get your pictures seen and aren't we all always looking for inspiring photographers to follow? That's why I created the forum almost 6 years ago. It's a place to come together for inspiration and encouragement.
.
Every morning, NYC time, we make a post announcing our new theme and tag. Your job is to tag images that fit the theme. You can use shots you have already posted but we really love to see the theme inspire you to find new shots. The @jj_editors, @kevinkuster and I scour the tag and repost our favorite submissions through out the day. Over half a million people might see your pic! Pretty cool stuff.
.
We are ALL about keeping things simple, but in the spirit of our motto, "Create to connect", we ask that you follow our only "rule". We call it the 1-2-3 rule. For every 1 image you tag, comment on 2 in the tag and like 3 others.
.
Glad you're here. Can't wait to see your shots. Speak up if you have questions or comments. We like to think this is the friendliest place on the internet. :-).

Absolutely thrilled & honored for this MAIN PAGE feature in one of the oldest & most prestigious IG communities, the @jjcommunity! Special thank you to @nbluxstudio & @jj_westcoast for the recognition 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼 #Repost @jjcommunity (@get_repost)

Hey! It's @nbluxstudio here from @jj_westcoast. I’m thrilled beyond words to be able to select one feature from all the features we have done over the last 4 years to be honored in the bigger community of @jjcommunity today! I’m not going to lie, we get some amazing shots posted daily so it was not an easy choice. Shout out to Mario (@pxl8photography) whose shot we featured on May 19, 2017. You should all check out his feed and give him a mahalo for his surf and sunset shots in LA.The reason for this choice was because it epitomizes the best part of the LA I know — to be able to slow down a bit, pull your car up to the beach at sunset, drop the top and take a moment. Thanks Mario for being a long time contributor to @jj_westcoast and @jj_losangeles!
.
Four years ago @jj_losangeles birthed as a place for local photographers to be encouraged with daily features and monthly instameets. About a year after beginning @jj_losangeles, I was packing to move further north and faced with either shutting the group down or expanding it. With the help of my moderators we expanded to @jj_westcoast! That leads me to the next wonderful part of @jj_westcoast—the moderators! As any anarchy leader knows and understands, the road should not be travelled alone. Moderators help to carry the vision and sustain the longevity of the group. As the founder who had a vision to host a space of encouragement for photographers, I knew I couldn’t do it alone.
