Are your energy bills higher? Are your community's public schools underfunded?

You might be suffering from missing representation in the NC General Assembly. Other symptoms include stagnant wages, opposition to raising the minimum-wage, and voting against universal free lunch in NC public school systems.

If you're in NC House District 64, your remedy is Coach LeVon Barnes for NC House. He's running against Duke Energy's candidate. He's running for public schools and taking back funding from the wealthy's private school vouchers. He's running to raise teacher pay and elevate NC public schools from the republican chokehold.

Make your plan to vote today. Learn about your candidates. Vote for the change you deserve! #vote #vote2026 #voteearly #alamancecounty #elections

Imagine having elected officials who aren't afraid of answering questions. At the end of the day, when I get elected my biggest responsibility is to be accountable, transparent, but most importantly present for the citizens of Alamance County!! No matter whether you vote for me or not (however I want your vote), I'll never be afraid to talk to you and meet the community where they are at. Visit LeVonForNC.com to donate $25, so we can send my opponent home. #CoachBarnes #alamancecounty #ncpol

SUNDAY, AUGUST 30 | 12:30pm–3:00pm

Stacey Abrams (@staceyabrams) is coming to campaign on behalf of our very own LeVon Barnes (@levonfornc). We'll hear from Stacey before we launch into canvassing with LeVon.

Stacey Abrams came into the spotlight nationally when she became the first Black woman in the United States to win the gubernatorial nomination for a major party. She was able to do that after serving over a decade in the GA House of Representatives. During that time she led the GA House as the minority leader for seven years. She continues to lead as a fierce voting rights advocate through her non-profit organizations like Fair Fight Action and Fair Count.

What a weekend in Hillsborough between the Blue & Orange Bash as well as the PerSisters fundraiser. Thank you to Jonah Garson, Team Up NC, PerSisters and others for putting in the work to build community and have fun while we do it.

Whether it’s during a gathering or while canvassing the district, we are seeing the same thing: folks are tired of a status quo that makes the rich richer while working people get a raw deal. I am proudly running as a champion for the working class, and I’d like to have you on Coach’s Team.

This seat is a toss up, and with your help, we WILL win on Election Day. Join us at www.levonfornc.com ✅

Looking back in a thoughtful manner aids in investing our limited resource of time strategically to more fully live the lives we desire. Whether it be each day, week, month, quarter or year, 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲, 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀.

Thus, I take a few moments when transitioning between months to reflect on what should stay the same or what needs to change, and that’s no less necessary as we flip the calendar from November to December.

Sometime today, consider what elements of November need to be left behind versus brought forward into December.

In reviewing these photos summarizing my month of November, I ask myself two important questions: (𝟭) 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵? (𝟮) 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁?

With that in mind, how will you be adjusting your investments of time, focus and energy to boost #productivity and make the most of this last month in 2025? What truly “earns” your investments?

The world is so very heavy these days; thus, we must romanticize the everyday. What will bring joy, peace and fulfillment as we continue through the hectivity of the holidays and year-end, making this December its most rewarding possible?

✅91 of 100 counties in NC have elections this year, with some primaries in a couple months, and local elections are the pathway to the future.

🗳️If you live in ANY of these 91 counties, you might have a November election and/or a September primary.

👀You can check your voter registration and upcoming elections by going to the voter lookup page on ncsbe.gov
