There’s something pretty magical about seeing your name go up on a building that finally feels like home—and even more special when a dear friend is the one putting it there.

Our Fuller Building home has a gorgeous fresh coat of paint, and our dear friend Kenji of Need Signs Will Paint added the finishing touch: hand-applied gold leaf, bringing our Caravan logo to life on the side of the building.

Kenji is an incredible artist and craftsman, and having his hand be part of this chapter means so much to us. Watching that gold catch the light on a building we’ve poured so much love into feels pretty damn special.
After all the dreaming, moving, painting, building and creating—we’re here. This is our home.

And seeing CARAVAN shining in gold on the side of it? That one got us.

Big love, Kenji. Big love, Fuller Building. Big love, Amesbury. ✨

It’s feels impossible to capture the magic of Corn Camp in a post - so instead of waxing poetic, all I’ll say is THANK YOU to our generous hosts @hiredhandsigns and @10thgenfarmer - and THANK YOU to my Corn Camp cornspirators! The creativity, collaboration and LOVE is unparalleled, and I’m so happy to call you my sign painting family ❤️🌽❤️

I’m so proud of myself for locking in, and tackling a larger scale project this year - property parking signs! I was even more thrilled when @godzz arrived and riffed on my designs to paint the larger sign. And as we approached the deadline, @loomcitysigns swooped in, paintbrush in hand, and helped me cross the finish line! Corn Camp Collaboration! 🌽❤️😍

I’m already dreaming of next year, and missing you all!

I get the feeling I’ll be processing all of my feelings about @corn.camp for a while, but wanted to get things out while still fresh. I got back yesterday afternoon, after nearly a week of travel, painting, and camaraderie with one of the kindest and talented groups of sign painters I know. I slept a hard 11 hours after getting home to my own bed, but woke up wishing that perhaps I was still in a tent at @warnerfarm1718 and had more fun ahead of me. None of this would have happened without our stellar hosts, @hiredhandsigns and @10thgenfarmer. Jess provided us the support and prompts for the sign painting side of our time, and Dave for the constant supply of amazing, fresh produce from the farm, to keep our bodies going and to fuel our after hours gab sessions and lunch chats. Corn Camp is perhaps a non-traditional sign painting meet: no workshops, no hierarchies, no expensive tickets, and no egos. It is exactly what I want to be a part of in this community, and exactly what I want to aim for in my future attempts at hosting in Butte (keep an eye out for that soon). New friendships were made, and old friendships were strengthened. I flew out after the week, swirling with emotions, but already planning a trip for next year, and coming up with ideas for little gifts to bring with me. I have left completely enamored with the people I got to paint alongside, and refreshed and inspired again for my love of sign painting.
