Lately I’ve realized that the most freeing thing I’ve ever done wasn’t becoming more confident. It was becoming less concerned with managing how other people experienced me.

I spent so much energy trying to be the “right” version of myself. The funniest version. The most interesting version. The version that fit in.

Then something shifted.

I stopped performing.

I started leaning into the things that make me… me. The weird. The curiosity. The joy. The parts of myself I used to question.

And what I’ve found is that authenticity doesn’t make your world smaller. It makes it richer.

I laugh harder
I create more freely
I connect more deeply
I love more openly
I trust myself more
I feel lighter

Not everyone will get you.

They were never supposed to.

The right people don’t need a different version of you. They just need the real one.

Update: Daisy is adopted 🐶🏠

We got the absolute cutest baby into the rescue this weekend!

🌼 Meet Daisy 🌼

She’s a gorgeous grey pocket pittie mix! She’s a tiny girl and def mixed with something small!

So far, she loves her foster family and playing with her foster brother! She knows how to sit, is potty trained, walks well on a leash, and sleeps in her crate. She loves to cuddle and is a very gentle girl. Monday she is getting spayed and vetted- then she will be ready to find her forever family.
