You are the anchor I always needed. The woman I can look up to, count on, and talk to without a filter.

Today, I walked the Miss USA stage carrying so much more than a dream. I carried every version of myself that fought to get here.

I am most proud that my daughter had the opportunity to witness this dream finally come to life. Now, she will always remember that no matter how big she dreams, it can be achieved!

TL;DR: I wasn’t feeling my best and that’s hard but performing is something I will never stop doing!

Funny story, I had a cold most of the week and as most singers will tell you getting your voice back to 1000% after a cold can take a while, but I couldn’t miss the opportunity to perform at my high school, help out with fundraising, and visit all my old teachers!! That has made finding clips I feel confident enough to post a little tricky but two of my favorite people said post them anyways (thanks for the words of encouragement @aloha.aolani and @zakihamamusic ). More posts to come!
