We recently welcomed foodies @juliusroberts, @hixellie and @mark_diacono to Alitex HQ for our annual Harvest Lunch – a celebration of growing, greenhouses and the simple joy of bringing people together over wonderful seasonal food.

Julius and Ellie prepared a delicious seasonal lunch before Mark joined Julius for a warm and open conversation about food, growing, nature and embracing the seasons.

We also enjoyed taking our guests behind the scenes at Alitex, with a tour of our design studio and factory, offering an insight into the care and craftsmanship that go into creating our bespoke glasshouses.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a memorable day.

Last Thursday, we held our annual lecture with Tom Brown. With so many incredible horticulturists gathered at our HQ, we took the opportunity to ask them a simple question: What do you love about gardening? 🌱

We heard a wonderful range of answers, yet, there was one thing that connected them all: joy.

The joy of growing, of nurturing, of watching something flourish - and the simple pleasure that comes from spending time in a garden.

Last night, we hosted our Alitex Annual Lecture, this year with Tom Brown, Head Gardener at @westdeangardens.

Tom shared a fascinating insight into his life and work as a Head Gardener, giving us a glimpse into the daily rhythm, knowledge and passion behind his role.

Our guests enjoyed welcome drinks and nibbles (ingredients grown at West Dean!), alongside a wonderful selection of live music @hannah_dorman, before settling in for Tom’s talk.

It was an evening filled with curiosity, conversation and inspiration, and a wonderful celebration of gardening, growing and, of course, glasshouses 🌱

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. See you next year.
