This summer, I spent the last three months away from home, in Singapore for my studies. While I was there, I had the chance to train at @carpediembjj_singapore , and I really can’t thank the team enough for how welcoming they were. Great people, great sparring, great coaches. I hope I’ll get to train there again at some point. If you ever have the chance to go you should !
In a few days I’m heading back to Paris to start preparing for the season.

Malaysia,

You helped me become a better coach, a better athlete, and a better man.

The people I met here became family.

My jiu-jitsu got better here.

So did the way I see life.

Guardian Malaysia will always be my gift to this country. A small way of saying thank you for everything you gave me. Watching those kids grow has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

I'm sorry this chapter is ending sooner than I expected.

I'll see yous again.

Thank you.

Some places become part of who you are. Malaysia will always be one of mine.
