Boss Moms make Boss Moves 💳✨😮‍💨 @xtramyles_ got me going the extra mile to ensure he’s set up for financial success AS PARENTS SHOULD!!

@cocogauff said, “my parents never put me in position to be in debt!” and that hit different 🥹🥹🥹

From the time I was 18 up until now, I’ve been in some type of debt.. and that sucks. Tuition. Cards. Cars. Houses. I want better for my son. I want to help him with his college tuition. I want to help build his credit. I want to invest in his businesses. I want to pass down properties.

And I will.

It starts now.. not when he’s 18.

That’s the least we can do after choosing to bring someone into the world.

So to qualify for the AMEX gold he just needed to be 13 and not have any delinquent debt. Believe it or not some kids do.. Now I am thankful my parents never put a light bill in my name and didn’t pay it because..🥴💔 but Myles had fair credit and mine is excellent so we litttt

He called me yesterday asking can he buy something, SMH! 🤦🏾‍♀️ With a heavy card comes heavy duty. Restrictions shall be put in place lol but to qualify for the points he does have to spend $2,000 so follow him to see what he gets

This is a great way to teach financial literacy, self control, discipline, and self awareness. If I’d known more about budgeting, credit, and building wealth from a young age I’m sure I’d be a lot farther than I am.. and not just knowing but applying it in the real world.
