POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This past week was one to remember.

I am still processing everything I experienced. The new friends I made, the environments we gathered in, and the ambition to create in such unique settings.

The production of the @untitledghoststoryfilm by @rachelrianne taught me more about filmmaking than film school ever could. Although I learned online and this production was in person, the sentimental value of seeing everything happen firsthand, rather than through a screen, will always leave me in awe.

I am proud to have been a part of the cast and crew for the three days I was on set. You guys inspire me, and I hope to see you all again on many more productions.

Big shoutout to @troyozuna , I couldn’t have done it without you my guy. I am grateful!

Sometimes the best part of the job comes after the fire is out.

In March 2024, the residents of Grass Valley approved Measure B, providing funding that allowed the Grass Valley Fire Department to increase daily staffing to three firefighters on our fire engines.

That additional firefighter matters.

Since the staffing increase, our crews have made numerous fire stops throughout Grass Valley and while assisting our neighboring fire districts—stopping fires before they could grow larger and helping limit the damage and losses experienced by the people we serve.

But sometimes the impact is measured in something much more personal.

This video warmed our hearts. After last week’s fire, we had the opportunity to reunite this kitty with the residents impacted by the incident. Moments like this remind us that behind every emergency are people, families, pets, homes, and memories that matter.

To our Grass Valley community—our friends and neighbors—thank you.

Thank you for supporting Measure B. Thank you for providing your firefighters with the staffing, tools, and equipment we need to better serve and protect this community.

We know that support comes with a responsibility, and we work every day to earn the trust you have placed in us.

Serving our friends and neighbors is one of the greatest honors there is.

From all of us at the Grass Valley Fire Department, thank you for supporting your firefighters.
