Three Current Favorites Challenge!!
*Bookish Content*
Tagged by: @what.cece.read 🫶

>>>>>Swipe for my favorites>>>>>>>

I'm super late with responding to her tag, and I'm sorry, lol!! I swear time gets away from me during the holidays 😵‍💫

This was fun to make because, as you'll see in my current facts picture, I am OBSESSED with canva! I think next year I'll be using more of it for my bookstagram because I would like to revamp my page a little 🤭 maybe make it more uniform??? I haven't decided!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy some of my book recommendations (the ones I picked are 5 star reads for me this year)! I also want to include some honorable mentions of accounts that I have been enjoying lately:

@tattooed.trees
@the_eclectic_book_witch
@i_want_all_the_books
@sammies_bookcorner
@autumns_cozy_cauldron

I think all of these ladies are just awesome and have been super welcoming to bookstagram ✨️

Consider yourselves tagged ladies 🫶 but please don't feel pressured to participate, it's all for fun ☃️

Match a book to an ornament challenge‼️

I was tagged by @tattooed.trees to do this challenge, and I had to get a little creative because I typically read horror/thriller, and my tree this year is Disney 🤭 Total opposites just like my personality 🫠

Then I realized that I have a whole book collection of Disney villain retellings, and I knew I had to share one of my favorite villains, Hades 💙

❓️Q: If you enjoy Greek mythology, who is your favorite deity or hero, and why?

❗️A: Not surprisingly, it's Hades for me! I think I've always had an obsession with the concept of death and afterlife, so of course, I'm drawn to the God of Death. But, it's also interesting that in modern depictions, Hades is seen as evil, yet in classic literature, he is not regarded as evil but as a guide to the underworld during a tumultuous time in the soul journey. Anyway, he also has a 3 headed dog, which is triple the amount of head patting I'd be able to do to my favorite animal 🐾

I'm tagging you ladies to keep the challenge going and to see what awesome pics you come up with!!

Thank you @what.cece.read for reminding me about tagging lol!!
