This month I celebrated my 5th LA anniversary!! I can’t believe I’ve been living in California for 5 years. Moving across the country after graduating college was the biggest leap and I’m so thankful I did it. There have been frustrating moments, devastating moments, slow moments, moments where I wanted to quit, but even more, there have been some of the most beautiful moments of my life that have shaped me into the person I am today. I’m so grateful to everyone (including those not pictured who are still very important) who has supported me, guided me, and followed my journey from all over (especially my Ohio community!) it truly feels like this is just the beginning ✨🩷

Lately this is what my tuesdays have looked like ✨ starting off at the gym with @never_giveupp , getting some work done for @rollettes_la , rehearsing for my acting class and ending my day with improv class at @ucbtla 🖤 these busy days are long but so rewarding when I think about where I started and where I am now!

Gotta be real… working out through my whole pregnancy seriously helped me stay strong, and I’m so grateful for that.🙏🏼 But honestly, my gym mindset started way before pregnancy. After giving birth, I spent 9 months getting back into the gym, just trying to feel strong again, my core was SO weak after carrying JJ and having a C-section. Then, once JJ got more mobile, it became a whole new challenge. Trying to work out with a little one on the move? Nearly impossible! 😂 especially because I was bringing her in with me to the gym. So I took a break. But now, I’m finally back to being consistent, and it feels SO good.

I’m more motivated than ever especially after seeing her watch me 🤩

Finding independent personal trainers as a gym owner to rent space is easy! Finding quality people to come in and treat your place the way you would is a whole different story. Five years ago, Samy walked in, and his energy made me feel more than happy to have him a part of The Compound family! Little did I know that this would be a blessing in disguise. Through the years, we’ve faced challenges, overcome obstacles, and watched each other grow professionally and personally! Through it all, this person has always shown his support, and I appreciate him for that. Thank you brother!
