Largest independent bookstore in North America was perfect choice on a rainy day.

Cozy & colorful strolls, looking for coffee.

By far the best commute I’ve taken to/from a medical campus.

This dress got me through summer!

Found a local women’s owned bath/body shop, run by someone who happens to be an upper limb amputee. Obviously we spoke!

Took the Third Wave, A Street Car Named Delicious coffee tour this morning with my friend Sarah. We started out @neverlab coffee where we sampled the midnight oil latte and other coffees. Then on to @goodcoffeepnw where I fell in love with the smoked fig latte and apparently the best cold brew in PDX. I took everyone’s word for it. If I drank that, I’d never sleep! Third stop was @cadejopdx where I sampled the most incredible mole mocha! We added an extra stop @sisterscoffee and sampled a darker roast drip coffee and lastly on to @princecoffeepdx for the tastiest stroopwaffel latte ever!

The weather was incredible, a brisk, sunny Portland day! We walked and hopped on the street car and I think I’ll be caffeinated until Tuesday! (I’m a decaf drinker..!) I’m definitely going back to many of these locations and all offer dairy alternatives! Check out @thirdwavecoffeetours they have several different options and our group of 6 had a great time! We learned a lot about the coffee we drank!

Bits of Portland & bits of an enormous book haul, which will be revealed later 🙂‍↕️ bags are bursting. What I was up to besides @ohassociation conferencing and roundtabling with @anna.sheftel, @nickipombier, and @shanna_farrell on “Ghosts of the Past, Ghosts of the Future: Oral History and Memoir.” Life is cool when you do oral history.
