Missy’s Forever Home ✨

Thank you so much to everyone that followed Missy’s journey and shared her so she found her person!! The past couple weeks have been filled with meet & greets, questions, and coordinating with the amazing support of @newcollarco !

This morning, bright and early, she went to her forever home that is already filled with treats, toys, and adventure! We will miss her but it is hard to be sad when you know she is adored!! 🥰

Another foster journey completed, we have been so lucky to be part of her story. 🥰👏🫶

We’re two weeks out and still not over our open house fundraiser. 🙅‍♀️

October 3rd was such a special day. The clinic was full, the energy was incredible, and we raised $1,365 for @newcollarco a rescue doing genuinely important work.

Thank you to everyone who came out, bought raffle tickets, and made the day special. We couldn’t have done it without you. 💗

Slow mornings with my little foster love 🥹

And it’s official - Desi is adopted 🎉

He will be off to his forever home soon, so I’m trying to soak up every last moment with him. The sleepy looks from bed, the quiet company while I make my tea, and all the little everyday moments that somehow become the hardest to say goodbye to.

Fostering is such a bittersweet kind of love. You get to be a little part of their story, help them find their people, and then learn to let them go, even when a piece of your heart wishes they could stay a little longer.

So grateful he found such a loving family. Just going to love on him a little extra while he’s still here. 🤎

We recently reunited with Aquino for the first time since his adoption. The moment he saw us, he was absolutely OVERJOYED, jumping around with so much excitement that my heart could barely take it 🥺🤍

As beautiful as the reunion was, seeing the life he’s living now made it even more special. I always knew he was in the best hands, but seeing it with my own eyes is a feeling I can’t begin to describe.

This boy went from being abandoned in a shelter to being adopted by TWO VETS! He gets weekly private training, will soon start agility classes, and enjoys 3–4 walks a day on gorgeous trails. He has a huge home, three cat siblings he gets along with, and a family who gives him all their time. He is so loved, so cared for, so safe, and so incredibly happy!

Ofc we brought some @openfarmpet treats to celebrate our reunion 💚

As much as we love Aquino, we knew that adopting him ourselves wasn’t the right decision for our family (but that didn’t make it any easier). But fostering him meant giving another family the chance to love him forever (and hopefully helping more dogs along the way). That family turned out to be more wonderful than we could’ve imagined.

Seeing him live like the KING he is, with two vets as his parents, endless adventures, and a family who makes him the centre of their world, affirmed that we made the right decision 🥺🤍

His family has thanked us countless times for fostering him. They still call us his parents and always remind us we’re welcome to visit anytime. I can’t explain how much that means to us.

This is the beautiful, bittersweet part of fostering I wish more people could see. Sometimes, your job is simply to love an animal until their forever family finds them. And then you get to witness the life they were always meant to have 🥹

Aquino deserved the world and watching him receive it now is the greatest gift fostering could ever give us. Thank you @newcollarco 🫶🏼

Someone has been craving some sunshine. All morning he has been finding the perfect spot to take in as much Vitamin D as possible. I finally was able to capture him in one of his spots before the direct sunlight moves away. It amazes me everyday, how smart and brilliant The Nash really is. Foster pup update: The shark teeth are starting to fall out! 🦈

Meanwhile, Desi is looking at me like I’ve personally betrayed him 😭

Our poor little foster pup is teething and starting to lose those tiny razor-sharp baby teeth. We’re helping him through it with cold washcloths and soft chews to soothe his sore gums. Growing up is tough when you’re a tiny land shark 🥺

Drumroll please..... 🥁🥁 meet Thumper!! This girl is only 7 months old and looking for her forever home!! She is incredibly playful and friendly and curious about the whole world! She's working on containing her excitement with other dogs and the distractions of life while on walks, but she is highly food motivated and eager to learn! At home, she enjoys playing with her toys, cuddles, and just being near her humans!!

We'll be taking care of this darling girl till she finds her forever home 💝 Welcome to the foster den, we're so happy to have you!

Casual Volunteer Opportunities: Help out with animal transportation, adoption and foster screenings, fundraising events, and more!

Internal Team Opportunities: Get more involved by joining one of their coordinator teams. From fostering and adoptions to events, fundraising, and social media, there are so many ways to make an impact! (Minimum 6 month commitment required.)

Every helping paw makes a difference in giving rescue animals the love, care, and second chances they deserve 🐶🐱!
