💖🐺 In 1966, Lil Red Riding Hood hit no. 2 on the charts and it was the second Top-Ten hit by Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs (after Woolly Bully hit No. 2 in 1965). In our honest opinions, it's one of the coolest Halloween love songs out there, especially for being a characteristic riff on an age-old fairy tale. If you just started following us here, we're an original 1950s/60s-influenced Rockabilly band in the Philly area. (...and you can stream our music pretty much everywhere!) We perform next at the "ROCK-N-SCREAM" Halloween rock show / costume party Halloween night (Sat. 10/31) at @deadbeatblackwood alongside @the.jettys and Homestead Family Band. We create audiovisual-atomic-fusion by mixing the classic rock-n-roll formula with sci-fi tech and on-stage character-play.

We would give you our full canonical back story in this paragraph but it would hit the character limit, so you'll have to dig a little deeper to discover that! Much love and keep supporting local artists, musicians, and social communities!

💃🎃🕺 Nobody HOPS quite like us! HALLOWEEN NIGHT we're delivering our iconic space-rockabilly sound (Sat. 10-31) at @deadbeatblackwood (the coolest new venue in NJ). We're debuting a fresh face behind the kit: Bugsey the Kid! You’ll also see one of *OUR* favorite local bands @the.jettys PLUS a fresh reconfiguration of @northeast_corners called “The Homestead Family Band.” If you need to be told, it’s a costume party (+ costume contest prizes, billiards, and Halloween-themed games)! Hope to see ya there!

🚨🎺🎸 I’ve *always* wanted to host an open mic and what better location than @DeadBeatBlackwood ?! FIRST EVER ORIGINAL MUSIC OPEN STAGE WED 8-19 7-9pm! Sign-ups open up at 6:30. Original music preferred. ✍️ Any and all instruments welcome. Drum kit will be set up (drummers will need cymbal stands + breakables). Depending on success, the plan is for this open mic to occur on the third Wednesday of the month! (…first one being August 19th!)
🎤😎🎶
Deadbeat is a space that enables and promotes artists and musicians of all genres, encouraging a culture of creativity and a community made stronger by the arts. There is no cover charge for this event, but limited performance spots are available — first come, first served. Come on by to appreciate the art on the walls, meet some new musicians, and share your music with the world. #openstage #deadbeat #deadbeatblackwood

Squeeze my lemon? 🍋 If you're a Led Zeppelin fan, you probably recognize this tune! Howlin' Wolf had a HUGE influence on the rock n roll of the late 60s and 1970s. His raw, soulful vocals atop his powerful, rhythm-heavy lead guitar make for an undeniably iconic sound. Without a great appreciation for music history and unique sonic footprints (and incredible musical pioneers), TSR would truly not exist in any capacity. 😎🎙️🚀🌍 Catch us rockin' in acoustic duo format Saturday night 6:30-9:30 @deathofthefoxbrewingco! Much love and keep on rockin'!

🦊🎸🎻This clip is from our acoustic performance in April at @deathofthefoxbrewingco (Clarksboro, NJ) – we'll be back this Saturday 6:30-9:30! 🤩 We've had a blast performing here in the past and certainly always will! Great home-brewed beer AND coffee, too! ... that's what they do! We always love rockin' in any format and we'll be performing a variety of covers from the 50s/60s/70s with originals mixed in! See ya soon! 😎☕🍻#rocknroll #surfaris #jawstheme #acoustic
