A place in London’s public art history.

Bringing @tschabalalaself's Lady in Blue to Trafalgar Square took specialist expertise, meticulous planning and close coordination.

We're proud of our team and grateful to our partners for helping deliver another landmark Fourth Plinth installation.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this installation possible.

LADY IN BLUE - @tschabalalaself

Tschabalala Self’s Lady in Blue takes her place on London’s Fourth Plinth.

A contemporary everywoman. A young metropolitan woman, captured mid-stride, moving forward with ambition, purpose and optimism.

Lady in Blue is the 16th commission for the Fourth Plinth, bringing a bold new presence to one of London’s most recognisable public spaces.

Installed in Trafalgar Square by Mtec Fine Art in collaboration with @newpublicprojects

From the busy streets of New York years ago, to the heart of London’s cultural scene today, some connections just come full circle.

Introducing long-time friend Lorna-Rose Simpson and co-founder, Rachael McNabb. In this journal entry we pull back the curtain on what the global art world really looks like. These two are actively changing the game.

Their London-based agency, New Public, is so much more than just another art agency. As a women-owned and operated powerhouse, they aren’t just trying to win bids. They are on a mission to democratise art and affect culture at the root level through public art and place making.

Want to know what it actually takes to disrupt the global industry? Read the full interview at the 🔗 in bio.

Before the launch. Before the crowds. Before the photos.

There were weeks of carving, shaping, sanding, painting and refining.

Every piece of coral started as a raw material in our workshop before being transformed into part of @sophieteaart first ever public art display - Under The Pier at Fulham Pier.

Projects like this are never just about the finished result.

They're about the process, the craftsmanship and the collaboration that happens behind the scenes.

From workshop floor to public installation.

For the last few months, we've been keeping a secret.

Under The Pier officially launched at Fulham Pier, the first public art installation by @sophieteaart

Working in collaboration with Sophie and the wider project team, our workshop helped transform an ambitious creative vision into a large scale public installation on the Thames.

From design. fabrication and 3D printing to scenic finishing and installation, this project challenged our team in all the best ways.

Projects like this are a reminder of why we do what we do.

Taking ideas from concept to reality.

We're incredibly proud to have played a part in bringing this one to life.

Every rainbow has an end 🌈

Thank you to everyone who stopped, looked up, and made ‘Chasing Rainbows’ part of your city. @ColbertCharlotte created these sculptures to spark moments of pause and connection among strangers on the street: “Surrealism, especially as public art, creates a glitch in the matrix. A moment of pause where we can re-imagine the structures and the world around us.” We are so glad you found your moments and shared them with us.

Chasing Rainbows was curated by New Public (@NewPublicProjects), and would not have been possible without the support of @nyc_dotart, @flatironny & @meatpackingny. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!

And thank you, New York! Until next time!

Some nights feel like a goodbye. Charlotte Colbert’s ‘Dreamland Sirens’ comes down early next week. A few quiet moments beneath its gaze still remain. Part of ‘Chasing Rainbows’, curated by New Public (@newpublicprojects). See it before it’s gone. #ChasingRainbowsNYC

Final days to experience Charlotte Colbert's (@colbertcharlotte) 'Where Angels Live' in the Meatpacking District.

Part of 'Chasing Rainbows,' curated by New Public (@NewPublicProjects), Colbert's dreamy 30-ft silver tree hung with small charms, each one a symbol of healing and hope, is here for reflection until next week. #ChasingRainbowsNYC
