POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Yesterday, when our teacher invited us to set an intention, I did what has always come so naturally to me. I called upon my guides and protectors, asking them to bring me clarity and strength. And then, for those 75 minutes, I surrendered. I gave them permission to take over, to move through me, and to guide my practice in whatever way I was meant to receive.

As I settled into Shavasana, the final resting pose, I found myself whispering a prayer of gratitude:

“Thank you for reminding me that I am a part of you, and that we are all part of the same universe. Thank you for allowing me to remember where I come from, beyond this body, beyond my thoughts, beyond everything I believe myself to be.

And now, if you don’t mind… please give me back to the real world.” 🥹✨

And just like that, something beautiful became clear to me.

The church I had been searching for, the sacred place I thought I needed to find somewhere outside of myself, had been within me all along.

Perhaps spirituality was never about finding a place to belong, but remembering that we already belong to something infinitely greater than ourselves. That the divine is not always found in a building, a ritual, or a set of beliefs, but in the quiet moments when we finally become still enough to feel it.

I wanted to share this because it felt so deeply beautiful to me. 🙏🏻❤️

And to all the teachers, guides, and coaches who have crossed my path and helped me reconnect with myself: thank you. Thank you for creating spaces where I can grow, for reminding me of what I already carry within me, and for helping me finally take up space without apology.

I am learning that sometimes our purpose isn’t something we need to become. It is something we slowly remember.

And perhaps, as we remember who we are, we become better able to help others remember, too.

May I continue to learn, to surrender, to serve, and to love in the ways I was always meant to. 🕊️✨🙏🏻 #trufusionsummerlin #teachertraining @zeekyistru @newrajayoga @krisblunt @areyouinwellness 🐦‍🔥

Each of my friends and the incredible communities I am grateful to be a part of helps me to be a better person, professional, friend and human and I am immeasurably thankful for that. Thank you. I’ve never felt more encouraged, held or kindly challenged in my life 🙏🫶

I feel like every year we talk about the 8/8 portal ushering in change and I’m like yes in theory but this year I’m feeling it and I’m glad for the ride 🎠✨🦁

Progression: when I founded Yin City in 2018, it wasn’t at all about yoga as we know it in the west.

It was always about the inner connection felt when you *make yourself a priority* - the nourishment of “yin” experienced in the stillness of meditation.

I wanted to remind people of what yoga actually is.
Not just poses. Not a trend.

❤️‍🔥Yoga is union with God.

Every International Yoga Day in Vegas — every single week of June 21st since 2018 — I’ve guided a yoga meditation and/or was a deliberate student of yoga.

To every soul who’s been on the journey with me; who’s received my guidance or flowed beside me in practice; who’s found their way back to themselves on a yoga mat or meditation cushion — thank you for being here.

Yoga is a living prayer of breath, awareness, stillness, movement - for a personal experience of Connection with your Self.

Cheers to prioritizing your soul and the healing gifts a community can bring - all day, everydayyy 🫶🏼🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏾‍♂️

Last weekend I had the privilege of learning from THE one and only @zeekyistru in his Hands On Assist training.

I previously did HOA training back in 2021 with the Holmes’ @yogaholmes which also was incredible.🤩
There’s always room for improvement and I know to never stop learning.

This training completely reignited a spiritual depth in my practice and teaching that I didn’t even realize I was missing. Transforming how I connect with my students and bringing a whole new level of energy to the mat.

✨Highlighting my experience✨

•Somatic Connection: Moving past just verbal cues, using my hands allowed me to feel the subtle energetic shifts in my students’ bodies, fostering deep somatic awareness and trust.

•Mindful Adjustments: I learned how to read bodies and offer compassionate, consent-based assists that help students find independence and freedom in their poses.

•Reigniting Purpose: The experience grounded me. It reminded me that yoga is a lifelong journey of learning and a beautiful way to show care and loving-kindness in action.

Now I am double certified (lol) and can’t wait to get my “hands on you”! I’ve been implementing my new skills this week and everyone that I touched has been thrilled and left feeling more lengthened, aligned and adjusted….just ZENTASTIC!

It was so Ahhmazing getting to know and re-kindle with all of these fellow instructors & souls on this unforgettable weekend. 🙏🏻♥️

Three years ago, my transformation began.

In 2023, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training and my first Hands-On Assist training. Those certificates were the beginning of so much more than a career path.
They were the beginning of finding myself.

Two people played a significant role in that journey.

Zeeky Vincent, with his love, encouragement, and guidance, helped shape me into the yoga teacher I am today. He saw something in me before I fully saw it in myself and created a space where I could grow with confidence.

And Paul Benedict, through his wisdom, his teachings during the yoga philosophy module, and the Clarity Workshop (which I've now attended three times) helped me become the person I am today. His teachings gave me the clarity (pun intended 😜) to trust myself, walk my own path, and move through life with greater confidence and purpose.

What those frames don't show is everything that came before them.

In 2021, my marriage ended. My family dynamic changed overnight. I became a sole provider, navigating uncertainty, financial struggles, and learning how to carry responsibilities I never expected to carry alone.

In 2024, I packed up a home full of memories and moved into a new chapter, trusting that something beautiful could grow from all the wreckage.

In 2025, I sold my house, became debt free, and made the decision to go back to school. There were long days, late nights, self-doubt, and moments when I wondered if I could really do it.

And then came 2026.

The year I became a licensed massage therapist.
The year I completed Yin Yoga training.
The year I completed my third Hands-On Assist training.
The year I began earning enough to provide for my family with peace instead of fear.
The year I found myself surrounded by two beautiful communities at BeHot and TruFusion.

Looking at these certificates, I don't just see accomplishments. I see resilience. I see healing. I see every version of myself that kept showing up when quitting would have been easier.

This wall isn't a collection of certificates.

It's the story of my dharma unfolding. 🤍
