Chess is about to change. Seeing the problem clearly was only the start. The real question was how to build something that gives players more opportunities, without asking them to become one of the best in the world first. That’s what @newrochess is designed around: tournaments where you compete within your own level, tools that help you understand and improve your own game, and a system built so every competition feels fair from the start. In this second part, I’m sharing how Newro works and the ideas shaping what we’re building. Part 2 of 2. Full video on YouTube.

Chess is about to change. The deeper I got into chess, the more I fell in love with its world—and the harder it became to ignore how much potential remains unrealized. I believe the people who dedicate themselves to this game deserve more opportunities to compete, grow, and build something from their talent. That belief is at the heart of why I’m building @newrochess. In this first part, I’m sharing what drew me to chess, the problem I see, and the thinking behind Newro. Part 1 of 2. Seguimos.
