We had a standing ovation for the @nexasquartet last night! What an incredible concert. We are still on a high this morning 😀

The program included Matthew Hindson’s ‘Romeo and Juliet Suite’, an electrifying contemporary vision for the 4 saxophones … and what a treat to have Matthew in the audience.

Concert #4 is at 1.30pm today. We have more world class players. @emilysunviolinist (violin) and @jambazianvatche (piano) are performing Strauss, Schubert and @fazilsay.

What a fantastic two days at Ensemble Explorers! 🎶

Our Ensemble Explorers 2-Day Workshop at the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music was a huge success. The students were incredible, developing ensemble skills such as non-verbal communication, musicality, listening and blending, while making new friends and having lots of fun.

Day 2 was especially inspiring, with students working in small groups and as a full ensemble, guided by the outstanding @nexasquartet.

What a fabulous way to spend the January holiday break — we can’t wait for more ensemble experiences like this throughout the year!
