POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Join us Friday October 23rd & 30th 5-9pm for a series of craft nights led by local artists and artisans.

Together, we will explore traditional, and alternative art forms to create a collective ofrenda that weaves together community and memory.

This collaborative project invites you to experiment with a variety of hands-on textile and image-making techniques with all materials provided. We will be using Cyanotype transfers from personal photographs, fabric weaving, sewing vintage yoyo buttons, quilting, and more.

Come share an evening of creativity, connection, and remembrance as we collectively create a tapestry of shared memories.

I’m still glowing from a tremendous week in Cleveland; basking in the warmth of so many incredible folks. Huge thanks to #GraceChin and @thesculpturecenter , my co-exhibitors @soyeahill and @_ma_le.na, all of the support from @textualfealing, Josh, Gabby, Julia, @sol_creatives, @ericsouther, @micah_alhadeff, and @joshuakosker. I loved meeting @emily.culver @maxspitzer_ @mariaesthela.art, @nftg0ddess, @cooperwraystudios @pauladamm3470, @leighbrooklynart and seeing old friends @sharon._.gill @alexvonhof @julia_betts - I am sure there are more folks I am missing if I didn’t tag you, tell me because I appreciate you all. 💜

A human being is a creature who is lost, who is singular, who merges with and is like everything in existence, who knows and doesn’t know God, who has been seeped in pain and who is afraid to love and wants to love and be loved. A human being is a creature who is hurled onto an arduous quest to reunite with the spirits of love and truth and goodness.
