POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Looking back at the month, I often forget to document all the things I’m up to, or give thanks for opportunities I have around me. 🙏🏼 Going back in the last 35 days…

Yesterday I said a well done and good bye (for now) to the first term (10 weeks) of great students from a DJ course I teach @themidimusiccompany (limited spaces for next term which starts in Feb 2025). 🎶

Had an inspiring time watching the Stevie Hyper D movie👏🏼🎥🙏🏼

Street hockey session with @rollerfestuk w/little bulls. -thanks P for the opportunity & to @sk8_wysiwyg for the help + @skatebaselondon for the snaps. 🛼🏒

a regular termly DJ set on a Monday night at the breakout club at @thefoxandfirkin where I was BLOWN AWAY by the music of @sambrown_violinist 🔥🎶

Building and fixing roller skates as usual 🛼

Being part of a fire works display where we brought in @vauxsound to help out with stage, sound and lighting (thanks to Kev).🔊🔊🎆🎇

Then flying out less than 12 hours after to Valencia to DJ with @oscarkingsley at a very nice event with @valenciaroll and then chilling out in Valencia with some good friends in who flew over to meet me. 🇪🇸

And then @sparkyskaterparadise event in Brixton where @vauxsound came to bring in our system to support at Brixton Rec.🎶🔊🔊🔊

And of course, playing fun street hockey on Sundays with the boys (and girls) from @norwoodparkhockey community.🏒🔥

This is just a handful of things I’ve got up to in the last month but just putting something up on this page as I’m poor at keeping up appearances on here.

Also, I think I’m beginning to understand a struggle I’ve been having with attention and focus /traits of ADHD but yet to be diagnosed, simply because I don’t want to take the meds…. But my mind is always active, full of ideas but my life doesn’t do even 5% of all the different ideas that I’m inspired by… 😆 but hey, roll on December and the festive period ahead 🔊🎶🛼🎉🥂🍾🎄💫

Sunday was a DAY. 😅

Started at 12:30pm at Norwood Park with back-to-back 1-2-1s until 4pm. Straight after, the ladies and I joined Norwood Park Hockey team for a 2-min game on foot.

My gosh, I did not realise the effort that goes into this. One minute of running up and down and I was struggling 😫 but it was SO worth it, I had so much fun. Thank you @norwoodparkhockey for encouraging us to play, I will definitely be back for more. #GameOn @amgallusive

After all that skating AND running, I rounded off the day with my hubby and the green-fingered lady 🤣 at the allotment, watching the sunset. Perfect end to a full day. 🌅

Week 2 of season ‘26 was a little windy but the sun was out and we had some legendary players show up for the intermediate games with Cookie and Paps traveling all the way down (from the 80’s pioneering team Eastside Gladiators).

Also, a snippet of our beginner session had some players from last year, as well as some new first time players.

Thanks to Jackie and Rich for the picture and videos.

We play again next Sunday. 3-4pm beginners, and then 4-6pm intermediate and advance only.
