💛 (this passage is my favorite!!)

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Me walking into Day 2 of Church Girl Conference not knowing God is about to WRECK me!! 😭🥹 so many highlights but let me name a few:

2. The girls started with morning movement hosted by the amazing @growwithjo
3. A little “wake up with church girl” skit because it’s nyc and you have the best of Broadway @ezrafreeman
4. All my church girls
5. My big brother is my fav worship leader, hands down @davidryancook
7. My friend Dr. Aida teaching us all about our hormones and taking care of the bodies God gave us
8. Waiting isn’t a season, waiting is life 💛 @dawnchere never misses
9-12. Breakouts — so many special conversations. I loved talking with some of my dear friends about how friendships build longevity and help you go the distance in ministry. Fun note: my mom, mother in law, and 2 sister in laws spoke at breakouts too!
14. The entire room was captivated by @agynessdeyn testimony and the power of Jesus in her story 🥹
16. It’s actually not fair to have so many family members who are so anointed. My cousin @chelsilorraine leading the room into Gods presence with authority
17. I’ve heard @hellomanouchka preach many times but I was absolutely blown away by this Word and the way she flowed in the Spirit. Powerful is an understatement. NOT ON MY WATCH
18. This prayer unlocked something 🔓 an establishing moment of faith released in the room. This was a legacy building, curse breaking kind of prayer 🤝

I’m still not over it. I know our theme was established but I didn’t realize how much God would meet us there and truly ESTABLISH our identity as Church Girls. More than half the women in the room already registered for next year (that literally doesn’t happen, a solid start is 20% on conference weekend). So I’d suggest getting your ticket for next year asap before it sells out 💛 @churchgirlnyc

God knows what we need and he always always GIVES. He gives when WE give up, even if its once again and I say - I’m done, I knew this, I can’t again, and I need you Jesus. What’s he do…He takes over —- immediately.

He sends you family - Cousin Renzo you and the family we’re with us in spirit and heart. I will never forget your intention to be here. Love you Cuzzy cuz. Sissy and my beauitful niece nina, both were angels and by my side, God sent. Sissy you are forever my support.
