💋I’m A Good Girl - The Journey: 💫

Im on a plane to Barcelona to watch I’m a Good Girl at the Love and Hope Film Festival and it feels quite surreal and I was wondering how the fuck did I get here.

So here is a quick brief:
1- Sept 2022 🏞️ I had just finished my last contract in costumes and I felt like I was going off track with my acting goals. I felt traped. Like I had so much to say but didn’t know how to convert that into something real. And in the middle of a road trip around Croatia, Nick suggested I tried writing a short-film that I could act in.
2-Jan 2023 ✍️ I started an intro to screen writing class and during that time I develop the first draft.
3- Feb 2023 💌Sent it to Roxie, my dear friend and director. The girl who makes things happen. If it wasn’t for her, this would just be another project I start and never finish.
4- Any month in 2023 🎨 the story board Roxie made.
5- September 2023 🎬we shot it in two days, with an amazing cast and crew and I could not believe the dedication and commitment of each member. It was an unbelievable experience and I could not me more grateful for every single one of them. Especially grateful to @madalenaalberto for bringing D.Olinda to life with such an open heart.💛✨
6-October 2024-The premier🍿- I had never been more nervous in my entire life but it was an absolute privilege being able to share this with the people who were present. That night was by far the biggest highlight of my London Life and I felt like every choice I had made had brought me to this moment. And I am still beyond grateful to everyone to took time out of their busy London schedule to come and support us 💛

This career is a slow burn but despite every challenge, I’m glad this is the life I chose for myself. Feeling very blessed to be on this journey ✨ Curious to see what comes next 🫶
