Surrey Cup Match 2

Last night the men’s 1s looked to continue where the women’s 1s left off on Monday as they secured another 3-1 win away against Reigate 💪

With a weaker than usual TWC team, it was very important for the season that the guys could make the most of the opportunity. Mike and Dylan went on first to get the ball rolling with two convincing 3-0 wins followed in quick succession by Jack and Ahmed repeating the same results

As Edwin went on for the last match against the solid Elijah Thomas the match was already wrapped up 4-0 but looking to maximise the damage done, Edwin needed to push for the win. After a hard fought match, unfortunately Edwin came out on the receiving side of a 3-2 loss but maintained maximum points for the loss and put on a great show for the members with some brilliant rallies!

Thank you all who came down for the match and supported, it really does make a massive difference to the players as they push themselves to their limits on court

Finally a massive thank you to @carringtonsproperty @mbassociates_net @russellcooketrainees @taylorroselaw for their continued support of the team this year

After a lot of planning in the background it was great to finally get the students from @workltd_sheffield through the doors at @abbeydalesquash for their first #inclusivesquash session with the #nmfoundation coaching team today

We are providing a 6 week pilot project helping to get the students more physically active whilst improving their hand eye skills in an inclusive club setting. We are looking forward to the content from @workltdstudio who are filming the journey along the way.

A warm thank you to @tayloremmetsolicitors for their support getting this project off the ground

Well done to everyone who competed in the first round of this seasons Grand Prix yesterday. Our players also took part in the @rally28squash world squash day match where team ‘Allstars’ defeated team ‘Superstars’ by 13 games to 9. Finally, our big reveal of the world squash day surprise was that the winners got the chance to play a game against 3 time world champion @nickmatthewsquash . Lots more pictures to come in next posts (Grand Prix Pics Part 1).
