April 16 marks the anniversary of the life of Sally Stovall, humanitarian and co-founder of One Earth.

She helped lay the building blocks of what has now become our international @oneearthyfc young filmmakers contest.

Years ago, we created a special award in her name - The Sally Stovall Planet Warrior Prize - for grades 12 through Post Grad. These winning films inspire us through their creativity and vision.

Here are just some of the films that received this award over the years:

"Higher Ground" by @nicolescimeca9
"Throwaway Living" by @helen_ry_sun and @lauramalatos
"Ocean Monologue" by @bogdana_bigdan
"Painting by Numbers" by @radheya_j
"Our Generation" by Jaki Guerrero
"Environmental Racism" by @nathan_goswick
"Fighting for Environmental Justice" by Ilan Jinich
"Lucy" by Tara Gupta

In honor of Sally, we encourage you to rewatch these films on our website today.

one of our favorite moments of the weekend was the vip breakfast we hosted with our partners at fao schwarz the morning of the awards for our gold & silver circle inductees, presenters, staff, and board 🥹

we were literally kids in a candy shop 🥲 a private tour before the store opened, wandering through the toys, and even getting to help kick off the morning opening ceremony

not a bad way to start emmy day 🧸🎹🍭

Reminiscing today about How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the Grand Ole Opry. 🎄

There’s something about walking through those doors — knowing how many incredible artists have stood on that stage — that never stops feeling surreal. I’ve said it before with Radio City, but getting to work at the Opry again for a third year in a row was just as special.

And this time, my sweet Bogo got to be part of it too. 🤍

Moments like this are what studio teaching is all about — being present for the kids, supporting them behind the scenes, and getting to experience these iconic spaces while doing meaningful work. It’s such a unique career, and I’m grateful for every season of it.

Memory lane kind of day. ✨
