Last Saturday I was grateful for the well-visited reception at 515 Bendix. Thanks to everyone who came out!

I was thrilled with how the pieces were finally able to dialog with one another and am ready to curate again. Grateful for the artists in my exhibition, not to mention the top-tier talented community here in LA.

If you didn’t make the opening, the closing will be September 12, 7:00-9:00pm and viewing by appointment is also possible.

What a powerful weekend in at @willowpondslo with @kipaipaiworkshops! It was an honor to work one-on-one with such an incredible group of artists, helping them build confidence around marketing their own work.

My favorite moment is seeing that glimmer in a their eye realizing that marketing is not that hard, and with a little intention, it can be a powerful tool to use!

So grateful to be part of their journey!

So this is 40… well, almost. Officially on Thursday!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with me. My goal for this party was to bring together people from all the different chapters of my life.

Watching friends from the fine art world, pro audio, spiritual circles, video games, ’80s dance class, axe throwing, comedy and live events all meeting, laughing, and connecting was incredibly special. It reminded me how lucky I am to be surrounded by such a wonderfully eclectic community.

My heart is so full. Thank you for helping me kick off this new decade in the best possible way. ❤️

I am thrilled that so many friends, colleagues and strangers have seen Cardboard: Infinite Possibilities @wonzimer gallery in Los Angeles. (Open 12-7, Thursday-Sunday through 1/30)

People have come from near and far. Thank you. There is so much time and energy that goes into curating a show. It took me a year to organize it and it’s up for one month, officially 16 days if you count the days the gallery is closed.

Why do we do it? It’s a good question. My answers are: I want to expose people to art of the highest caliber. Good art takes us to another reality beyond our everyday experiences and difficult lives. I want people to marvel, and wonder and scratch their heads. How did an artist come up with this idea? What does it mean to me? Art matters especially during hard times. One of the artists in the show @narsisomartinez said in an interview. “Art saves lives, it saved mine.”

This past weekend was a true gift. I’m still sifting through all the valuable nuggets of information - it’s going to take a while to unpack! Having so many rich conversations with the faculty and connecting with an incredible group of artists was life changing 🖤
