I couldn’t fit everyone into this video, but looking back reminded me how many people have been part of my growth. I’m so grateful for every one of you.

You’ve prayed with me, challenged me, checked in, and given your time to things that mattered to me. You’ve let me walk alongside you, too. Growing together has made this whole journey so much more fun.

I know my consistency would look different if I were trying to do all of this alone. There have been so many times when knowing someone would ask, “How’s it going?” helped me follow through.

These relationships keep reminding me that I don’t have to have it all together. I can show up, be honest about where I am, and commit to making progress.

Letting people in is scary and humbling. They’ll see gaps you’d rather keep hidden. You’ll realize you have more work to do than you thought. You may get hurt along the way. But for me, sharing this journey has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life.

To everyone who’s walked alongside me: thank you. I hope you know how much you’ve meant to me, beyond whatever we were working toward.

Don’t grow alone. Bring people into your story. Give them a chance to know you, and take the time to know them, too.

What’s a book that surprised you?

As an early reader on NetGalley, sometimes I end up in a “hate read” 😫

BUT these were AMAZING! & I was so grateful I requested them on a whim!

Thank you NetGalley for access to these eArcs

What does it look like to love your neighbor, not from a distance, but in proximity?

It looks like stepping into the gap, choosing to hear one another, and learning the language of love.

Contrary to the popular definition, influence isn’t defined by platform. Influence is how we use our talents, gifts, and time to love and serve others well.

And author, speaker, and creative-architect Nigel Darius certainly uses his influence in unique ways. In a world that is deeply divided, Nigel feels called to create spaces for conversation. Whether he’s writing, teaching, or building those spaces on his current national book tour, Nigel invites people towards shalom—wholeness, completeness—without compromise.

Burdened to move the broken pieces of our shared humanity towards one another, his hope is that something more whole and beautiful can emerge through unity.

We’re all called to something bigger than ourselves. That includes loving our neighbors, stepping into the needs around us, and using what we’ve been given for good.

Especially loved #2....There’s a difference between being honest and using “this is just who I am” as permission to slice people with your words.

Questions don't have to weaken your faith, they can deepen it.

Too often, we treat questions as something to avoid. But honest curiosity, paired with a desire to know God more, can lead us to a richer understanding of Scripture and a stronger faith.

In this episode of The Redeemed Podcast, Nigel Darius explores why asking better questions matters, how context transforms the way we read the Bible, and why spiritual growth requires humility.
