I very rarely say I’m proud of myself, but last night, as we celebrated the publication of my book Upcycle with an intimate drinks reception and panel talk, in a room full of people who have supported me throughout this process, I felt truly proud of what I’ve created.

We delivered candid conversations about sustainability with some absolute queeeennnsss - Natasha from @itsrooper & @lydiabolton_ - giving insight into the daily challenges we face (the good, the bad, and the ugly), all hosted by my girl @styleidealist, who didn’t disappoint in exposing my teenage fashion faux pas!

Thank you to everyone who came and joined us, to everyone who has sent me messages saying they felt inspired, to everyone who has tried my upcycling hacks, and to everyone who has pre ordered the book - it means the absolute world.

The biggest thanks to the dream teams at @popstalent for bringing UPCYCLE to life - Im so excited for what’s to come ✨💖

This week @irenettya said “ always have a global mindset” @myaemade said “make happy mistakes” and @nigelruwende said “success is not a destination” 3 of many gems dropped all while learning how to design on an iPad 💫

The biggest takeaway that every creative hopefully took away is remember is the business side of fashion if you eventually want your creativity to be your bread and butter, because as creatives (if you call yourself one) we get caught up in making and being inspired forgetting those bills needs paid!
These workshops aren’t available to teach you clever tricks on an iPad. They are designed to help you learn from people who have been through the ups and downs of launching a career and hopefully that’s happening. So guys lots more to come. LINK IN BIO!⚡️🕊 #madeinldn
