Motsi, kunye - one, in the tongue of our mothers. A collection shaped by unity, land and memory.

This AW26 offering reflects a shared ground between people, places and a way of making. Each piece carries a dialogue between heritage and form, made with patience and intention.

Phase 1: Reconnaissance.
We almost didn’t make it. Our schedule was super tight and the farm was 3hrs away. But thanks to my sisters, brother-in-law and uncle, we were wheels up at 4:30am on the last day.

So this is the homestead where my mother and a couple generations of our family grew up, but it’s fallen into disrepair. My hope is to rebuild it with family, and I’m using @saintandbirchley to help make it happen.

I’m excited to see what the future holds for this farm. I know it’ll be a place where we can create memories, but also learn the importance of agriculture and sustainability. taken in Zimbabwe by @nigelruwende

“Two” | this collection translates Munyaradzi’s sensibility. Through considered proportion and the tactile qualities of seersucker and double gauze cotton, we look at structure not as restriction, but rather freedom.

Zimbabwe’s artistic renaissance, SS27 looks towards the work of Henry Munyaradzi. His sculptures
possessed clarity; forms distilled to their essence, where structure became a vessel for memory and connection.
