It is a beautiful day to enjoy another edition of Women’s Hub.

After spending seven years as executive director, WIMBIZ, a send forth gathering was organised for Hansatu Adegbite, where friends, family, WIMBIZ members and well-wishers came together to honour her. It was filled with moments of reflection, appreciation and stories of journey so far, which included how hardworking, supportive, daring and result oriented she is. This was echoed by all who spoke about her at the event. We share the experience with you here as she graces our cover this week.

Other stories in this edition include:

*How the essence of purpose is identity over activity and being over doing.

*Don't curse the financial darkness: Light your candle of literacy, mindset, and skillset.

*What survey plan means in Nigeria’s real estate.

*Navigating Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D) with hope and resilience.

*Bouncing back from conflict in marriage.

*How to stop your assumptions from limiting your growth.

*Navigating cybersecurity landscape in Nigeria: Challenges and solutions.

Check out Babayo designs. Babayo is a mid – high end clothing line made to create the perfect synergy between beauty, culture and fashion as it specialises in luxurious, statement pieces for women. They are worth your visit. Pay them one today.

I know what you should make this weekend. It is aebleskiver Danish pancake puffs made from fried batter. A delight to indulge in, with or without the nutella stuffing.

Try this too. Strawberries in anything is 9.5 out of 10 a good decision. Strawberry in biscuits is a yummy choice. It is tender buttermilk biscuits loaded with sweet, fresh, diced strawberries and topped with a strawberry glaze. Indulgence at its peak indeed. Share your experience with us.

Why join WBN?

These are some outcomes you're sure to experience when you join.

1️⃣ Faulty foundations will be repaired.

One major cause of many of our problems is that we (or our spouses) come from a faulty foundation, and because we haven’t addressed it properly, we're building on sinking sand, which is bound to bring problems in marriage.

2️⃣ Marriages will be restored using proven biblical wisdom.

The issue you’re having could be because you are trying to act woke instead of sticking to the wisdom contained in the manual that the creator of marriage designed. We've had seven cohorts so far, and many homes have been restored using this wisdom; yours won't be an exception if you join us.

3️⃣ Healing of broken hearts.

Behind the picture-perfect image that some of us like to paint, hid many broken hearts due to marital issues. It's much worse for those of us who think that since we are Christians, these issues should be far from us. The good news is that your broken heart can be healed; you can be whole again.

4️⃣ Renewed hope.

Are you currently in a state of complete marital despair because of the curveballs life have been throwing at you? Are you with a spouse who seemed promising when both of you first started, and now you're not even sure of who you're married to any longer? You've tried and tried, but the more you try, the more hopeless it gets.

5️⃣ Self-discovery and purpose discovery, beyond just being married and answering ‘Mrs.’

Are you currently discouraged because you seem to have lost yourself? Do you get sad when you think of all the dreams and aspirations you had as a single woman, and it seems like being married has ‘killed’ those dreams? Or are you just content with being ‘Mrs’ when you are made for more?

In WBN, we have empowering rooms like the Money Room, Purpose Room, etc., which have served as a launchpad for our women to rediscover their purpose and identity, enabling them to live a fulfilling life.

WBN is a 12-week FAITH-BASED curriculum designed to help women experience emotional wholeness, discover their life purposes, elevate their identities, learn the wisdom to transform their marriages.

One hobby that most men have is their love for football, and for women who are not into football, they can't understand why their husband don't joke with the time his favourite club is playing.

Some even feel ignored and ask their spouse to choose between them and the match, and we know how it often ends.

If you're on this table, it is because you have not discovered how to enjoy your own company.
When you marry, you think it's time to cut off your friends, but you discover that your spouse will not cut off his own circle, because he understands the importance of having his "me time".

Instead of acting clingy or feeling ignored, here are 5 things you can do to enjoy your me-time.

1️⃣Read a book.

2️⃣ Learn something new.

3️⃣ Use that time to plan.

4️⃣ Connect with your friends, it doesn't have to be physically, you can do it using your mobile devices.

5️⃣ Declutter your wardrobe, your space and your media.

In WBN, we teach our women the importance of enjoying their company, and we even organise physical hangouts to enjoy our company.

Registration is on, visit www.warriorbridesnetwork.com to join us today.

When individuals engage in self-destructive behaviors, the question often arises: Why didn't they reach out for help? From my experience, several factors contribute to this reluctance:

• Fear of vulnerability
• Fear of judgment or labels
• Fear of various forms of bullying or harassment
• Fear of being misunderstood or trivialized
• Desire for privacy
• Lack of trustworthy individuals to confide in

While these reasons are valid, it's crucial not to continue suffering in silence. There is always a solution, but it requires taking action. It's essential not to give up seeking help, as bottling up emotions can lead to significant mental and psychological challenges.

Remember, you can overcome the storm. I'm just a DM away - https://bit.ly/thrivinginthestorm and ready to offer support.
