MEET THE CHICKS! 💖✨

We are so happy to introduce our actresses, starting with our lead actress Nicole Marquez Davis! She plays Polly, a shy and sheltered teen invited to the popular girls’ slumber party like no other… @nikolololedavis

Nicole is a Filipino-American actor/singer from San Antonio, currently based in Los Angeles. She’s won indie awards for for her work in "Falling Sparrow" (Best Supporting Actress, LA Best Shorts Competition) and in "Ascendance" (Best Supporting Actress, NYC Oniros Film Awards). She has a BFA in Acting and Minor in Musical Theatre from St. Edwards University. Nicole’s grandma is her best friend, she talks to her every morning and evening when she's not out performing with her Star Trek-themed cover band.

excited to announce CHICKS is continuing its LA tour and screening at the @pasadenafilmfestival on June 25th at 10:15pm as a part of the “Something Wicked this Way Comes” block. So if you are in LA, there’s still a chance to see our hot pink fever dream in theatres! 🥰👹

That’s a WRAP on @chicksmovie!!! 💖🐣🪓🔥 I’m in total awe of this god tier cast and crew; feeling more alive than I have in a while after 5 nonstop days. @geenamariehernandez is a visionary and runs the tightest set around. Words can’t express my gratitude for this experience and my excitement for the cut to come so I guess I’ll just say thank you and see you all on the festival circuit 🥺💕🦖

it’s officially a wrap on @chicksmovie 🎬 !!! this was the most gigantic thing I’ve ever worked on and I have nothing but extreme gratitude to my incredible cast and crew for making this wild-ass movie come to life and for getting the band all back together for our first post-COVID short and also first short outside of film school!!

bigger and more emotional post coming next week after I have time to reflect and take some fat naps, but enjoy some stills in the meantime

i won’t get too emo here but I need to acknowledge that this movie would not have been possible without the amazing @chris_violette @chayse_banks0102 being my rocks and for caring so deeply about this movie, and to @sky_theis for quite literally being the reason this movie was possible in the end, I love you all so so dearly. ❤️

what. an. experience!! we officially wrapped on @chicksmovie monday night, and i already want to film a sequel lol. this entire process has left me completely speechless—from the amazing creativity that was exhibited, the seamless nature of the set, the professionalism, the absolute chaos, the insane talent. this project will forever have a special place in my heart.

@geenamariehernandez thank you for trusting me with jazz. thank you for allowing me to be as crazy as i wanted to, to take the character as far as i wanted to, for supporting me so heavily. you are so amazing!

@jenacbrooks , @maddiemooredotcom , & @nicolololedavis : i’m feeling so BLESSED that i got the opportunity to work with you all. your talent is unmatched, and i’ve learned so much from just watching you all work. two of cups forever ❤️🐥
